literally blew the 3rd major of the season apart coming in with a
staggering 53 total across the first 18 holes. However not to be outdone
(well by much anyway), last week’s winner Funkyjunkie3000 has posted an equally impressive 54 total to be only one shot off the lead going into the 3rd round.
LuisCraveiro and AllyKennedy
follow closely behind and comfortably have the ability to make up the
three shot gap over an 18 hole round. There was heartbreak for Egonweber, Woodoworkery and Dougsda who all thought they’d made the weekend but late round sposted by Tanneralis and Poolmaniac6 moved the cut line at the last minute. Tour Chairman, Jimbean346 was heard to be cursing, swearing and shouting at the top of his lungs from the clubhouse as he and Daskino had to make last minute adjustments for the second week running. There were whispers amongst the local broadcasters that Briggs8587 had purposely aimed to wind Jimbean up and his actions hadn’t gone unnoticed in the media tent over the last two weeks.

Please use the link below to find your designated partner. Try to make all attempts to play with this individual but if it's not possible use the following method:
- use one of the ten R3 Markers (named in original WGF thread); markers are to remember that their first round counts as their R3 score
- if not possible, use a WGF Tour player who you have not partnered with during R1 and R2
- please always update your designated partner if you do use a marker

We’re over halfway through the tour and we head into the third major of the season. So far the major’s have been dominated by British players with Bawbag1874 and TonyTurbo78 taking the honours in the first two of the season. The Open Championship is sure to provide a competitive environment but with the winds not blowing to their full potential, we expect scoring to be low throughout this event.
As with previous weeks, the scorecard and greenshot needs to be submitted by one player from your group. As there is no equipment restriction this week, only one person needs to do this but please take a backup shot just in-case. All players need to still submit their own scores using the link provided.
Quite a few warnings are in effect currently, so please be careful to post all the necessary details so as to avoid any stroke penalties in the next few rounds.

It is sensible to use markers for your rounds unless the player you are partnering with is happy to putt on championship speed greens. Please let your partner know this point before starting the round.
