    Bugsytwo:

    Thanks WGT, however - installed new flash version .. everything still stuttering.

    In addition, flash freezes up the whole works if PC left idle for a couple of minutes (with a game still active, but idle).

    Conclusion, new version does not seem to have solved anything, in fact I think it has made it worse, and higher memory consumption.

    But keep on trying!

    Thanks

    And game keeps crashing.  Getting old playing in a good game and it crashes.  Cant send bug report because it's not available.  Getting too frustrating to try to finish a game.

    happened again. total bs

    My guess is flash is checking for an update.

    Copy the following lines into a text file and save the file and name it mms.cfg

    AutoUpdateDisable=1
    SilentAutoUpdateEnable=0
    AVHardwareDisable=0
    ProtectedMode=1

    For 32 bit users copy the file to the following location

    %windir%\system32\Macromed\Flash

    For 64 bit users copy the file to the following location

    %windir%\sysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

    Just a side note for Firefox users.

    Ditch everything Google with any Firefox browser versions.

    There is a major incompatibility issue with these two combined entities.

    You're CPU usage will improve.

    Hey Steve......how ya been?

    I would say yes on deleting the older flash programs.....could cause a conflict.

    I always make sure I delete all older ones b4 I do a new one.

    NO, looking at your screen the only "other version" listed is an Activex control for .271. Everything else is part of the 11.4 install. leave everything as is.

    Hi Ox:

    Are you using two browsers, IE and an alternate browser.

    I use an alternate browser only, which means I don't install the activex version.

    Secondly, when you install the flash player make sure you check never check for updates, then do a file search for flashplayerupdateservice.exe and delete that file.
