. I think the software developer needs to fix the problem of removng the pin when ever a player is on the green. I...and my friends,  have lost many a birdie due to the pin not being taken out when finishing the hoie.

    hi

you can do this already by pulling the pin via a button on top right corner.

When putting on the green, the pin is being removed in the moment of the stroke. Flag hits are only possible from outside (fringe or further).

What you may see in putting replays is only the virtual image of the virtual flag - it's not there for real (or virtuality?).

I cant say I have hit the pin whilst putting on the green, it is always pulled at the time of the stroke -  under rule 17-3 wuld be a 2 shot penalty if I did lol and have never incurred that on WGT

It is impossible to hit the pin when putting from the green in this game.

I , too, have been confused by the fringe from time to time, especially at St. Andrews.  If it looks like the pin is in, you can always check the lie under the golf ball in the lower right corner of your window.  Or, you could just pull it yourself and be done with it.

The reason the pin is 'visible' on putts is to mark the hole.  There are plenty of examples I can think of why it's necessary.  Long distances and the humps on St. Andrews hiding the hole are only a couple.

If you hit a flagstick while putting, you were on the fringe.....and consequently had other options for your shot, too.

    It makes the hole bigger.

The pin might reflect a ball which might have gone in the hole without it.

    On the downside:
Without the pin a fast ball might roll far away from the hole which would have been reflected and stopped close to the hole had it been in.

    BTW:
A quick look into your bag reveals two things to optimize:

    - you are using SWING wedges which do produce quite bad results. For more consistent shots you better replace them by the Starter wedges in your inventory or even with the Ping wedges from the Pro Shop (2x110 credits).

    - you are using expensive Callaway balls which cannot show their qualities with your Starter clubs. You might be better off to save them for future use and play with Starter balls now.
