They said it couldn't be done. They said it was trying to achieve the impossible. They said he was mad to think anyone would actually take up the challenge. Well the WGF Tour 2012 took the competitors back to WGT 2009 when players in the US Open struggled massively to even break par.
Tour Manager, Jimbean346 has now received monikers such Jim "Devil Incarnate" Bean346 through to Attila the Bean by the many angry members of the WGF Tour.
Lie factoring was the big issue of the weekend and many players weren't happy. Alongside Priestess Mickelson, we had Tony "kick lie" Turbo complaining about bunkers and Graeme "The Fighter" Lee99 who finished his 3rd round but was heard to say "I pity the fool for making me play that round; I ain't never playing that shitty uneven lie again". Mr T was last seen chasing Graeme around the course but unfortunately he broke his ankle on a "red" uneven lie in the fescue at St Andrews. Graeme promptly drugged him and shipped him out on a plane back to the US so he could lodge a full complaint with the tour management.
Demcug braved the elements and mastered the uneven lie / starter ball combination to take the win in a three round total of -10; this was a 20 shot difference from the Week 8 final winning total by Tonnoincanna. Swedish hotshot, BaaBaaBoom closely followed the Italian Stallion home to pick up the runner up spot. Tour management are keen to be seen to be fair but there is murmurings of uneven lies returning before the end of the tour....watch this space ;)
