Interesting write up in Forbes magazine about WGT.

    Key points:

    • 40 employees
    • "$40 million to $50 million in revenue (WGT won’t disclose figures)"
    • "The average paying player forks over $30 a month"

    How To Beat Tiger Woods

This story appears in the September 10, 2012 issue of Forbes.

Once a course is done and WGT has recouped its costs from the first several thousand players, it makes a healthy marginal profit from each additional player who tees off.

and wind rustles the trees in each of the 15 courses

trees don't move....never have done lol

there’s a waiting list of 14 courses from countries such as Japan, Korea, Sweden and Brazil that want to be incorporated into the game

an influx of cartoon courses then?

I would say the key point is this.    "and there’s a waiting list of 14 courses from countries such as Japan, Korea, Sweden and Brazil that want to be incorporated into the game."

It's nice to see that WGT is profitable and will continue to grow.

I would say the reason they are making so much effing profit is because the greedy egits are charging upto $6 for a cluster of effing pixels that cost them eff all and that they steal back willy nilly with over deviated shots around water and weeds.

Sure it's great to see them grow....but at our expense due to a heavily tweaked meter that only seems to stutter and cough when hazards are in play.

I'm shocked at the idea that $30 is the "average" spend per month. I'm nowhere near that.

    Headline should read...

"WGT shafts players silly to become a success"

A new set of clubs can cost $14 in credits

then again they can cost $30

rofl....I take it even they were too embarrassed to mention balls can cost upto $6 a sleeve.

Great, now Bain Capital will buy them and our avatars will be forced to wear special underwear.

btw, this is one time I'm glad to be below average.
