    Hanswurst72:

    Hello everybody!

Only 4 days to go until the start of the qualification process. Some very relevant final updates were made today.

    1) You will have to register for the competition once, using this link. Score evaluation will then be done by me and my team.

    2) The course for the WGT Ryder Cup will be The Olympic Club!! From now on, the WGT Ryder Cup will take place at the same continent as the real Ryder Cup, which is America this year.

Good luck to all of you!

    Cheers, Hans

WTG Hans. Very nice. This is set up to be a GREAT community wide tournament. Good Luck to everyone qualifying and let me be the first to say - GO USA!!!! GAME ON!!

My round was one of those deviation effected rounds where nothing plays normally.  If it wasn't for me sinking a few 5 or 6 yard putts i would have been screwed, but it wasn't the conditions that were tough, but lack of wind on certain holes & dinged shots reacting like you've sliced.  Forget the dinged drive on #1 in 17 mph left to right wind landing 5 yards LEFT of aim marker in 50% rough, or even the 13 mph headwind (6 o'clock) on #2 with a dinged wood starting off way left as if i missed ding by loads and ending up 10 yards LEFT! or the 19mph left to right wind on #4, or even the strong headwind on #6, #14 & 18, the biggest annoyance was a birdie putt on #7 from 7 feet with flat green (all angles including chip view) my dinged putt starts off a cm left as soon as it leaves club, just like i missed ding by a inch! and last but not least, a 84 yard approach in 17 mph headwind hit 100 wedge with 91 yard avatar movement and touch backspin and it goes 91 yards!, a average 61 (just remembered why i NEVER play these free tournaments)

This is my biggest moan about this game, we're not in control of our shots when we get things like this happening, having to rely on the wind actualy doing its job and not going on holiday or ding actually acting like excellent all the time and not when wgt feels like it!.  Always the same, we could enter same tournament again and wind effects ball normally on every single shot and we score sub 58's.  Its the luck of the draw, a LOTTERY!

I may have missed it.  Where do we post our score once we have played?  I can't seem to find a link.

    Cheers,

    b0gey
