    Amazing.....i hope we find somthing other than rocks.

    I was always of the opinion that Mars was once like Earth...excellent math just to get there...im in awe.....sadly i dont thinkl i`ll be around for the first person on there!

    Everything to do with space exploration is fascinating.....Curiosity being the next step forward....

    Maybe WGT can give us a new course...........Cabo del Mars...!

    A 2 year project if im not mistaking (from the time of landing). And it will take 6-7 months before it reaches the point of where the project starts. Got to hand it NASA, these guys know what they are doing, and can start designing balls and meters here if they want, lol.

    The landing was pure Sc-fi....awesome.

    Yes i believe it is a 2 year project....but i reakon its little nuclear engine will take it beyond that. 6 to 7 months doing nothing....seems like a bit of wasted opportunity....but it does move quite slowly....as quick as a garden snail at full pelt!

    You wouldn't want a fast-moving vehicle on the surface of a planet with only 38% the gravity of Earth. At even speeds around 10 to 12 mph, it would be very easy to inadvertently flip a rover, and then it's absolutely useless.
