I feel your pain. I had a string of birdies heading for my best round ever, then all of a sudden I had to hit the ball with a sledge hammer to get it close to the hole. It's like the computer/game says " we've decided you are not going to make that putt! ... and you're not going to make it on the second try either!'' LOL...and "as a matter of fact, you've just wasted twenty hits on your ball that we are going to take out of play in order to make you purchase new ones because you got so frustrated and quit the game" LOL. In reality, it's like the real thing. If one gets in one really good round they'll be back for more. Free? You're paying out the azz in the long run. Now, let's go upgrade those balls!

putts don't count as ball hits.

There's skill required but it's basically a slot machine which rewards you every so often, you know, those putts that miraculously went in for a birdie when the ball was two inches off the cup. Just like a slot machine you'll get a string of good holes then there are times when you can't buy a par.  I wouldn't be betting any money on a game...

You're observations are typical for everyone

Oh wise and omniscient one please beg my forgiveness, but I feel bound by duty to tell you something; you are, yet again, talking utter shite.

Have you asked every WGT player for their observations?

Never mind everyone, they're not even typical of most.

Game blaming helps no-one and that is even more true for new players. The minute you start to blame WGT/VEM etc. is the same time that any improvement in a players game stops dead.

For proof, look no further than this thread and one jokers posts going back years. He still can't hit a bull in the ass with a banjo.

Considering that as new as you appear . The fact that you are knocking off 100 rounds per week . Would give you some good insight .

Whacking off 100 x a week is not necessarily good practice..........The game is many things but a slot machine that will stand in the way of anyone usually getting what they deserve it is not.

In which universe far far away might that be?

@ Hack - See forums on how to improve/speak to people in a good CC if not in one already (I never looked at all).

Okay nevermind . I have no idea what your agenda is . And I don't care . I mean no harm . And do not answer to you .

Hack mentioned slot machines..........I never had any malice, just saying hello spade to a spade:)

Good advice . But no one asked .

Slot machine analogy from a guy at that level and explaining to forget all that and go work on getting better...........How is that a disconnect............
