TY for that info, but can you come down off your pedalstel, and chat with me. Just play'en
so what do you suggest
First off does your new monitor sit at the same height as the old one? When I got my new monitor about 9 months ago it sat slightly higher than the old one and it took a while to get used to it. But in time you will be able to adjust. But one thing I do when I am having trouble with the ding is go back to a faster ball for a couple of rounds and when I go back to my normal ball the meter seems to crawl. It makes it much easier to ding or come close to the ding.

that's probably the most sensible solution here,i do that from time to time or change from g20 clubs to r11's different speed change is a good thing
bubbadork: I'm a techie and I'd be curious to hear why that advice would help. Hertz isn't resolution, anyway, it's refresh rate.

What he said ^^^^
You want the highest refresh rate that your monitor and graphic card support. You most certainly don't want to be lowering it.
ez2putt:Cannot hit a ding for the life of me.
Yeah my bad I was half asleep. But its usually a driver or combo high reso/refresh rate that usually is the issue based on his description.
i had this same problem a while back, the meter looks like it moves faster as it has longer to move in the same amount of time that it does on a smaller meter, i just persisted and got the timing back all i can say really
All I can say is with a bigger monitor, my swing meter could be hella accurate when choking clubs/distances.
