    I can't help thinking that it's what the Yanks deserved. Altering the course to suit their players was far from sporting. We didn't do that at Celtic Manor.

    Hi Piz,

    To my knowledge, it is well within the rules for a Ryder Cup Captain to make course alterations. The Home Captain gets that advantage and can use it or not...totally up to the Captain.

    My 10cents worth.

    Quote of the day to describe Europe's players;

    "form comes and goes but CLASS IS PERMANENT!"

    The most exciting final day of Ryder cup i've ever witnessed, what an amazing 12 rounds of golf.   (USA, bottlers!.LOL, or nerves)

    correct....

    on that note I'd like to thank Davis Love for setting up the course in such a way that it gave us such entertaining attack minded golf and the best Ryder Cup in many years.

    widening the fairways by pegging back the rough was always going to be advantageous for both teams.

    Great amusement! In the last 15 minutes I watched TV lieing on the carpet and punching the floor! lol  I would emphasize what a wonderful player and a great gentleman is Michelson!  The only one I've seen clapping at the opponent's winning shot. Against Rose it was the best match of the final day. 2 great champions and great men! Bye

    How can a course be set up "for their advantage"???

    Both teams play the course so if its seems easy for the USA then its going to be the same for Europe too

    It was definitely a heart breaking loss for the US that will leave an open gaping wound for quite awhile.

    But losing to a team coached by Olazabal takes out some of the sting for me. Only because of his relationship with Seve.
