  I hope my good friend Lee and the rest of you know I'm just kidding around.  This guy is class all the way.

  To those of you who haven't been around long enough to have experienced the birth of WGT ---- along with  Tibbets and Nivlac --- Avatar Lee was one of the original "Legends of WGT".  

  Lee --- enjoy the family while they are young ... I hope WGT is still around when your my age so you can renew your love affair with the game.

  While it's sad news --- looking on the bright side .. you won't have to communicate with Icon any more ...

   Well said, H...look up the word class in the dictionary, and there should be a picture of Lee next to it.

   I think that before I ever played a round with Lee, we had hooked up on MSN chat or something so that I could  do a play by play commentary in mIRC during the first Ryder Cup back in '09.  Several rounds ( read: several severe beatings ) over a couple of years since, and my opinion never changed. Besides being a great player & teacher, Lee is one of the truly good guys.

   Sorry to see you hanging it up, Lee.  You will definitely be missed.

  Hello Lee,

  First, I would like to congratulate you for your accomplishments.  You have always been an idol for many of us.  Just know that you have inspired many thousands of players here in what you have done.  Such a class act, the words of this community are hard to follow.  

  However, I am not sad to see you leave.  I think it is great that you have found soul with your family. Take care of what is important, they need you.  I take you leaving this community as a sign of strength, as we all know how hard it is to step away.  Bravo Lee, family first!

  It is Sunday, The final day of the Big tournament .

  We are the gallery gathered abound the 18th green .

  The leader board has been AvaterLee in command from day one .

  As he stands over his ball for the winning putt , A hush falls over WGT .

  He makes the stroke and some one yells , " GO IN THE HOLE " .

  The ball drops , And the fan,s go WILD !

  Walking off the green he hands the ball to a young boy / girl ---  future player .

  With class he now turns to us and tip,s his hat .

  We were all lucky to be part of the gallery this day .

  Farewell to a man who made me realise how effective the punched wedge on the green could be. Never got a chance to play with or against you and that is a disappointment. I wish you well for the future...

  WOW, some of the names here saying goodbye says it all Lee. Ive never had the chance to clash irons with you, which is a real shame. In my early days here, it was a lot of your posts that got me to play better than i did. I even remember saying to myself, Thats a great name he has, why didnt i think of something like that, lol. All the best from a player who couldnt hold a candle to most here, but i needed to say thanks for those posts you did, Thanks chief.

  Sorry to see you go Lee..........one of the best WGT players around and also and more importantly one of the best guys on WGT.
