  From the day I started on WGT about 15 months ago, I remember looking at awe at some of the best. Bollox, WGTicon, Priestess, Genorb and Lee and wondering if I could ever achieve that status. 

  It has been a long road to hoe, and slowly but surely I get a tad better. I can only thank the ones who are WGT Hall of Famers, for giving me the drive to be my best. I also want to thank the the higher tiered players when I was a lower tier player for the knowledge of the game they shared with me. I have always tried to do the same!

  Lee, I never got to be a friend or play some golf with you, but I hope all your future endeavours play out, the way you played this game.

  I'm sad to say that I never got to play with you Lee.  You are a great player and a living legend, you will be missed greatly.

      A fond goodbye Lee ...

  For the benefit of readers, I enjoyed playing a round with Lee about 2 1/2 years ago in  The World Match Play League Championship. We went to the finishing hole with Lee sitting 1 up with 1 to play. The meter spiked on my drive landing me in the right deep rough giving Lee an easy opportunity to seal the deal (not that I'm in the same league that he is, he was and is a far better competitor). So what does the class act do? He intentionaly put his drive right in the rough right along with me to give me a fighting chance. He still won the match, but I'll always remember that gift ...
