how does my avg go down in match play games ....it doesn't

  and only once dropping from 68.68 to66.92 just enough to push me over to master tier???

  WGT changed the way average is scored. There's other threads explaining what is happening that you might want to read. Beating higher Tier players is now a way average is scored.

  After three years of membership, the Master Tier shouldn't be that hard anyway. GL and hit 'em straight.

  Pleased you can't type any louder but I understand your sentiments. I still want to be a hack playing off hack tees but with my current equipment but I suppose WGT don't see it that way. Wonder why?

  The average is based on a certain number of ranked games (50 in TM) within a tier. If you are new to the tier you can have fluctuations in the average, If you shoot a few low scores early in that tier, then a round of 2 under will push your average up. For example if you shoot 60 first game, then a 70, the average will go from 60 after the first game to 65. The more ranked games you play the less dramatic the variance.

  However as the system has now changed Match Play wins against a higher tier will drop your average as has happened with the OP.
