Calm Thunder, calm. It'll start 'soon'.

But practice? Ah, well, that started 3 days ago!

Yes practice.  Will this be a ranked round meaning you will play from your designated tees or do you have a specific set up in mind.

    Thanks,

    Jake

Jake, the set-up I had in mind (subject to change) was to get everyone signed up to play the Oakmont course in it's open conditions, meaning that they would have to play the qualifier. However, the set-up I had in mind also involved lots of print screens, so I meant have to think of something else.

If anyone has an idea, please do say. You never know, it might be better than mine.

The links to submit scores and see the list of players has been added to the front page.

I will announce the rules later on. Watch this post for more details.

I might have a way to play Oakmont in practice conditions with the starter clubs. This could happen in an IRC visit or just by 2 entrants hooking up (heh-quitters will love this.)

Start a game with anybody in the tournament. It shouldn't be too hard to find an opp just about any time. Set whatever conditions in the practice mode. Players verify at the first tee the other's clubs then whoever is just verifying can quit the game.

Since hooking up in MP is the only way to play Oakmont at less than T conditions quitting and restarting would put you at the T conditions, maybe discouraging any deception.

Masochism, along with Haggis and Menudo must be ventured and indulged from time to time. May I be included?
