    Hanswurst72:
Although that is 5 days out of the regular time schedule for the alternate games, I think it is fine. If there is any chance to play it earlier, please do so

Unfortunately it was the only day / teetime we agreed to play due to our availabilities. I don't think it will slow down the whole RC tho, Hans, so I think you can schedule the Four Ball session from 20th November as previously planned.

Ehm, consulting the captains, of course. That was just my opinion. :)

    Hello all!

As we close in on the second session of this WGT Ryder Cup, here are the results of the random determination of front 9 / back 9 for the 8 fourball matches, that I did 10 minutes ago.

    Match 1:  Front 9

    Match 2:  Front 9

    Match 3:  Back 9

    Match 4:  Front 9

    Match 5:  Back 9

    Match 6:  Back 9

    Match 7:  Front 9

    Match 8:  Front 9

As you can see, there are 5 matches played on the Front 9 and 3 matches played on the Back 9. Every captain will now have 2 days to announce the second session pairings based on this information.

    Cheers, Hans

I'd like to offer (with Hans' prior permission) an availability grid to captains Buggyyy and FunkyJunkie in case that might help with the scheduling.

I've been following these Ryder Cup threads with interest, but have noted the seeming challenges of getting some games scheduled. I can only imagine the difficulty of getting 4 players together over multiple time zones!

I wondered if it would help the team captains to have ALL PLAYERS fill out this googledocs spreadsheet form. I'd be happy to then create a time-availability grid from the resulting data.

It was a huge help in the Uneven Starters tourney we just ran: here's an example of the grid.

I realise it may inhibit the captain's choices about who to pair up, but at least such a quick visual guide might make it obvious who can play at the same time. (Captains, let me know if you want fields added for Front9/Back9 preference, or if you'd rather keep that tactical info private!)

With best wishes for the tourney to all, Corwyn

Thanks Corwyn. Actually the Ryder Cup is a very special tournament. It is played be the most active and/or most talented and/or most lucky (me) people at WGT, which normally leads to some pretty good match scheduling. Apart from that, nobody may know who he will potentially face in the next session, so this grid could only be used for team-intern purposes. Nonetheless it is a very nice offer and might be used by someone ;)

    Cheers, Hans

I did wonder if, when you all get that good at this game, you're pretty much on 24/7 so scheduling isn't that difficult... lol

Anyway, the offer stands if anyone needs it. Even if the captains just want an easy way to see which of their team permutations might work for timing, I could share their data (and only their players data) privately with them.

    Cheers, Corwyn

Played match between Dansancam/Aahna vs Demcug/Villadeoro

After some good holes and advantages by two teams...USA wins 1 up

Both teams played well, but Dan decides with some amzing puts turning the game to red colour.

Great game and well played Dan and J, hope to play soon again

Team USA won today 1up, was a very very close match all the way where no team went 2 up at any stage.

Villa and dem and myself tried to beat Dansamcam but he was too good for all 3 of us.

    It was a pleasure guys.

    Result

DANSAMCAM BEAT AAHNA & VILLADEORO & DEMCUG
