    Forgiveness a Fake?? Or is this just a Ilusion?

    Currently I have two putters: Daytona L 55 and Redwood ZB 44 bouth with two points for ForgivenessIf I miss the center just a little thing, the ball remains lie a few inches next to the hole.

    That can not be. I especially with the distance and the brakes usually get along wellAnd I realized that if I had hit the center, the ball is would have been inside.

    Where is the logic and the expectation of corrections???

    I think, a putter with more balance & precession makes the putting more harder, like this bouth i have.

    It does if you don't ding the putt. You can be very successful NOT dinging the putt, a lot of players are. But when you take a precise instrument and try to compromise that precision you ask for trouble. You either learn what you can get away with through practice or you accept that the best result is  going to be with a ding. You said yourself that you realized this. Believe what you see.

    @YJ

    Your answer have nothing to do about my question. And what kind of trouble i`m asking???? You told me, the best results are working with the ding. Thats the next illusion. Lot of times i hit the center, and the putt ended apruped some inches close to the cup. And this missing putts are calculated very well. For sur. I dont believe what i see, i know what i see. Thats real.

    Precision is in the eye of WGT, I don't  care what any one says. You don't always get what you pay for, believe me. This game will play as it damn well pleases, unless you have a special gift. I have played way to many rounds, in all categories. It will do what is predetermined, I don't give a flying $hit  what any body thinks, it is made the way it is. Let the comments fly, I have earned the right to make my comments. I will still play, have good remarks and bad, again, that is the way it is.

    Played a TM in AS shot game a few days ago.  Inside of 15 ft. lights out putter with a starter putter.  Couldn't believe he was that good all the time. Looked at his stats...he is good.

    The clubs dont respond the same , because they are different levels. I play with the Rossa, and very seldom do I play to hit the ding. I putt according to the break, so  I play off of the ding. That is the way that I play from tee to green. Although the stats may look the same, the way the clubs perform will be different , especially when they are different levels. When using the Daytona, you can putt and miss the ding , and still make the putt. So dont be hard on yourself. Take your time and learn how to putt with each club. The Daytona is a wonderful club, and if you take your time to learn it , you wont be sorry. Hope this helps. Happy Swinging

    I suppose you just expect too much. Missing the ding will deviate the putt no matter how many forgiveness points the putter has. But there are differences. Putters with high forgiveness will deviate less than others. The Daytona is on the other side, with lesser forgiveness, thus allowing successful putting with the "miss-the-ding" technique. Don't know about the Redwood.

    If you want to see a putter with really low forgiveness, take the Starter, go to STA and play some long putts. With the 60 and 150 scale, missing the ding will produce unbelievably wayward shots - take this as a measure of "low forgiveness"!

    forgiveness is not fake. But 2 dots of forgiveness is not much, And what many people don't seem to realize is that the putter more than any other club has a very little room for error. So even with 2 dots of forgiveness you won't make a lot of putts if you miss the ding my very much, especially on longer putts.
