Ok, I am going to shed my view on this, hate me or not....

The balls make no difference what so ever.  I play every ready go with the balls provided by WGT.  I can shoot sub 60 with, or without them.  Reality is this, you learn how to play each ball by trial and error.  There is no advantage in stopping the ball dead, or whatever the case may be.  It is all about the player and how they play.  I know that when I hit my approach shot from (lets say) 150 out with a WGT ball, I need to allow for 4 yards of roll (if flat surface).  That is with full back spin.

But, the real question is, what type of money are you willing to spend?  If you want to look cool, go out and get the Max Meter balls.  If you want to play golf for fun, use the WGT balls.

Go out and learn the courses, map the greens, and learn your clubs vs balls used.  That is the only way to answer your question.

The only advantage to purchasing balls is some of them can or do slow your swing meter down...

I have not found a ball to buy that seems worth the money.

Welcome to our very large Club my friend !

Hmm - why do you squander your money on "slow meter" Callies then?

    Must be worth something...?

LOL ! You caught me red handed ! The honest answer is.... because I've got the reactions of a Sloth ! 300 credits is not value for money and they're not much slower really, but I like to think of them as my "safety blanket" ! They're my little luxury for watching all those mind numbing videos I suppose. If the Max Meter 'rip off' balls were half the price, I'd have a bag full of them.

P.S. Squander...... great word that !

    All day.^^^

I use the Tour-SD ball for 2 simple reasons-they deviate less and the distance with the R11s matches the specs-without spin the ball will go the distance of the iron, rollout included on flat landing. Now you play with the spin and you can customize this. :-)
