    duffer19:

nice promo.  could you ease up a bit on how many places/times you post the same things though?  g/l with the club

I have a 14 years old boy.  He ran and won school presidential elections.  He went all the way and used every possible corner to make sure that his teenage campaign reached all his "targets" securing his victory ... and I supported him all the way !

If he was to make it into WGT and created his CC ... dear God ... this is nothing compared to what he would've done to make sure that he covered all the possibilities of promoting his playful idea.  I would support him completely and I would never say to him : "could you ease up a bit on how many places/times you post the same things though?"

Now, I know you might feel entitled to say or think (or maybe not) :  "but you are not a teenager Sir !" ... But just think for a moment :  If my 14 years old kid, at his age, overcame all the challenges of a school electoral campaign, made it through and won, despite all the horrible attacks he received from his contenders ... what should I do, as a grown up, and as his father, in my attempt to be consistent with my (his) beliefs, if I simply stop my playful promotional campaign of a simple virtual CC, in a simple virtual Golf Game, just because a player that doesn't even understand my intentions simply says that I should ease up a bit with it ?

Anyway, thank you for your farewell wishes with my CC, excuse my extended "explanation" and I assure you that this is only a "CC beginner's attempt" from a guy whose "country of origin" will not find much support from a dominating US-European community.  Bottom line : I'll play some cards and then let it go by itself.

Deep down :  Thank you for posting Sir.  Cheers !

Imagine a commercial world in which your suggestion was followed by most brands, services and companies ... No one would have a job.
    duffer19:

Not your job but there is a tag underneath each post that says "Report Abuse".  Please feel free to use it if you find my publications offensive in any way, and I will abide under any WGT final determination on this regard in a humble fashion.
    duffer19:
    and you're right.
In what terms am I right ? When First :  Your "wow" defines my reaction as a "jumpy one", kind of saying that I should have assumed that yours was a simple nice and harmless suggestion and not a whispered  and subtle "shut up!".  Second :  You are saying that if your job was to moderate these forums you would've stopped my publications by now.  And Third :  I am right ? Noticed any contradiction within your own words ?
    duffer19:
    apologies if I offended
Actually, it seems more like ... if you had the power, you would take actions to stop my promotional campaign, because of it's offensive "repetitiveness" ... So I can not accept your apologies when obviously I am not the one offended.  Besides, your self-contradictions do not reflect what apologies stand for :  One doesn't cast a stone with apologies inside ... That's more like a "Troy Horse" with the attempt to discredit someone in a very subtle way ... and some nice "appologies-tag" attached :[

If any repetitive "material" should be subtle for detection, regulation and even severe moderation, I think it should be the roughness, the sarcasm and the great trolling disrespect that is so repetitively-present on these forums and community.  I am very tired of that misuse of human intelligence and really hope that every member of Fellowship State Highway CC understands that anything away from true fellowship, care for others and their opinions, and simple good humor, will not be accepted nor tolerated, since those are the only values that will be very highly moderated in FSH.

Please accept my apologies for being the "insisting type" with my publications, knowing that even I can't endure all the unpaid time and effort that would take to keep this rhythm going on. So, very soon, in a matter of days, you will see how this humble attempt to announce my CC will be dissipated by the tide of new posts on these forums.

Besides, wouldn't you say that other CC owners have approached you in a more, direct and perhaps "offensive" way, when sending you non requested  clicking invitations ?.  I simply don't like to invade people's private spaces, and here is when my use of public spaces in these forums gave you this opened chance to criticize publicly only my public deeds, and not those that should be more criticized and moderated, wouldn't you say ?

Thank you again.  Good day my friend ;)

My overall opinion over the american people couldn't be higher than how it has always been, since I myself learned great things from "you guys" about honor, loyalty, discipline, good manners, respect to others and mere common sense.

Sadly, as it happens everywhere in the world, one has to face people with puzzling attitudes, who don't speak clear, who don't show much about what they stand for, and who simply enjoy to cast stones in subtle ways and hide their hands.  And from those I just can't learn anything useful.

So, my being honest and straight-talking, only deserves this type of sarcasm and mocking answers from old schooners that still think this is nice in this community ?  Those who don't give their opinion using their own words, and rather to use one's text chopp, put it out of context, deviating one's meaning in a very disrespectful way, just to make some fun at one's honor ?

This is very sad. I keep seeing this kind of disgrace around this community. Is anyone proud of it ... really ? Isn't there any real golfer around, who simply enjoys friendship, prudence and consideration towards others ? Aren't you guys tired of these cheap copycats that only imitate their Saturday Night Live's sarcastic heroes?

FSH Country Club stands completely against those kinds of misbehaving attitudes.

I truly and deeply believe in that Sir.  I choose to expect some grade of greatness per se, in a realistic and reasonable proportion of a "game-and-social-network" like WGT.  It's all a matter of achieving certain "critical mass" of people who simply strive for better and not for worse.  Those who rather "worse" should at least learn to read the "timing" and the occasion for their appearance.

I deeply thank your farewell wishes of good luck Sir, and I agree with you on the patience it takes to conclude any serious or playful project that we get into.

    Have a great day.  Alex - Q
