    DeanBarr:

So the Final is set for Wed, Jan 30th....12pm PST....and as I believe, it will be live streamed, correct Marco...???

    Dean

As I sayed in the private messages, yes it is, Dean.

Wednesday, January 30, about 8:00pm GMT (dinnertime) = about 12:00pm PST (lunchtime), you will be both "available" (green bullet) in WGT.

BarryBelfast, according to the Rules, as "owner" of the game will invite you and me (in this order).

To allow the broadcast of the match in live streaming, will be needed than I play next to you, then you will play a game strokeplay, but the scoring will be counted following the matchplay criteria.

Today, we have tested the last way all that we need to offer a very fun broadcast for everyone; I think and hope will be a great show in which we are the smallest part, since are both you the true stars.

Good luck and have very fun to you!

awesome match Dean very well played winning  1up.

see saw match i went 1 up after 2 with a great 23 ft bird putt on 2nd againstthe odds and Dean roared back with an eagle and 3 birds to go 3 up after 6 holes and i thought it was all over! I came back at him with an eagle between 2 birds myself and it was all square again on the 12th tee!!  I went 1 up on 12th and we matched birds on 13 and 14 until Dean stormed in with 2 more on 15 and 16 to take a 1 hole lead which he held onto to win 1 up. I had my chances with putts on 17 and 18 but none dropped.

Look forward to rematch final at Olympic....

    Thx for the battle Barry....

As expected, was a very very close match.....and I knew Barry wouldnt roll over once i was up by 3....didnt expect him to hammer back that quick, but once he did, it was a different game.....solid player, very consistant, didnt leave the door open to get anything back until he came up short on the par 3 at St Andys.....thats when i made it AS again......needed that putt bad  :)   Anyways, will see you again on Tuesday B.....whoo hoo OLY !!!!

    WOW...

I know I should be cheesed off for coughing up a 2UP lead, but I cant be....Barry, great comeback, way to stick with it, all I can say is hats off my friend. I wish i could have a mulligan on 16, and 17....but I cant :)   Anyways, great job Barry !

To Marco and his crew, thx for hosting a great tourney, being a class one at that. You made it seem simple, and it was very well run. Looking forward to the others you have planned.

Cheers Dean... well where do i start to describe such an awesome match!! Dean stormed into a 2 up lead in the fr9 and i staged a comeback to win the fr9 by 1up...

Dean then showed the absolute class he is, by scoring -5 after 6 on the back 9... to go 2 up again!  However never say die and hang in there til the end... i managed to stage a -5 from last 5 holes to go down 18 AS and win on the last green.  To beat a player like Dean means a lot, but to do it from 2 down twice in a game like that was such a thrill... you just know you have to nail every shot otherwise he makes u look like an amateur...

hats off to you Dean a great final (twice) and a very unlucky loser.

Marco thanks to you and your team... a truly memorable competition and many players make positive comments.... look forward to easter tournament!

And now, dulcis in fundo, let's go to see who are the winning bettors of the Bet&Win Concourse connected to the Santa Klaus tourney.

What follows is the table of existing situation shortly before the final.

    markone56:

BETTING REPORT (see Bet&Win Concourse page)

While the Champions are living their own emotions, the bettors are living other that depends from the results of the various challenges.

The results known until today show the following "panorama".

WARNING: in some cases (see table below) the result of some bets is already know.
The betting purse (6,000 credits) will be divided between the winning-bettors as soon as known any final result.

The share of each bettor depends on the ratio between the its own coins and the total of coins won by all.

In example: MarkOne56 earn 36,450 coins; sum of the coins earned from all bettors who have correctly guessed their bets = 289,650; WGC will pay to MarkOne56 36,450 (its own coins) divided by 289,650 (total coins earned from all bettors) x 6,000 (betting purse) = 755 credits.

The bettors nicks bold writed are recognized yet as winning-bettors.

The omitted events are events in which no one bettor had guessed the bet.
The omitted bettors have not guessed no one bet.

I must say this was a great and engaging tournament, and MarkOne56 did a great job.

Unfortunately I was kicked out in the early stage :-) but none the less I kept an eye and rooted strongly for... BarryBelfast in the final matches.

I had the pleasure to talk to him and I was pleased to learn how a gentleman he is.

I hope DeanBarr will have the opportunity to pay us a visit on the TeamSpeak server as well, one of these days.
I know he's an impressive player, and that's why I bet on him as finalist for this tournament.

I am looking forward to play in the Easter tournament MarkOne56... keep us posted!!
