This used to be a lot of fun to play but its going down hill really fast!! Too many issues with the game and I'm guessing they cant keep up with whats actually going on here..

Question i played 18 hole and got a -7 my avg didnt go down whats up with that ??/

In eleven months, you have had only two ranked 18 hole games. Neither of them is -7 (an old 72 at KIA and a recent 66 = -6 at STA).

So what are you talking about? A practice game? A dream?
(Neither of those counts for the average - lol)
Please explain!

Furtheron, -X doesn't make the average, it's gross scores like 66 or 34 (= 68, double 9 hole scores for calculation). So, please name these scores.

At last, you are a Master with a saturated average of 64.45. It is well possible that your score pool for average calculation doesn't contain any score higher than 66, therefore there will be no more modification from that.

Hit it straight!

Gotta say I'm very disappointed to see the gift cards go. Not sure I understand it from WGT's perspective. At the current exchange rate WGT can't be losing out on much to the elite collection. Can't imagine more than 20,000$ had been paid out in 2012. If there is nothing appealing or realistically attainable in the elite collection I will go back to gifting away credits to my friends that put real $ into the game.

I couldn't agree more but WGT has a solid history of taking away any of the appealing prizes people want. I enjoy the game, the competition, and trying to accumulate enough credits for a gift card. Take them away and much of my motivation to play will be gone. All of the high earners should do their best to fund all of their friends game so we can keep these credits in cyberspace and maybe they'll get the idea.

just don't ask me for credits. I've gone from clearing 2-3k credits a day to losing 300-400 a day and only have 2k left. Thank you WGT meter!

WGT History

1. Took away nice prizes like real clubs, coach bags, Play with the Pros tourney. 2009

2. Cut prize winnings for free tourney by over 60% making it impossible for those who can't compete in Ready Gos to earn enough credits for pro shop purchases. 2010

3. Gave us the Elite Collection at ridiculous return rates but we accepted it because credits could be earned doing something we love to do. Gift cards were the only attainable and appealing item in the shop. (I'd be curious what else has been purchased in the Elite Collection other than gift cards). 2010-2011

4. WGT takes away the one carrot left on the table being gift cards. Polite for WGTto give us a warning but I feel sorry for those people with 130K credits who won't be able to earn enough to cash in by Jan 9, 2013 especially since WGT took away bigger Ready Gos and the tier specific ones take forever to fill up. 2013

Well said both of you. I pretty much was posted something similar on the novel post 71 pages somewhere else, didn't see this 1 'till today. How to pi55 us all off in 1 single handed move. No incentive anymore either.

Would WGT pay the air fare if some one was to come over from USA to Celtic Manor If some one wants to go halves on a golfing Holiday from the Elite Collec5hite??????

Sorry, it says the travel is not included (not even if it was a domestic flight, I'd imagine), looks like the prize is the actual round only.

I could probably get a tee time for £59 (less than $100) at Celtic Manor so WGT are in Dreamland If they expect someone to pay 495,000 credits+

I cant hold back any longer. I thought FOR SURE the credit prices in the Elite Collection were a "mis-print". I thought FOR SURE these prices were absolute incorrect. Well, after almost a week now the prices still stand and not a one admin from WGT has come in here to say anything different. So that said -

You have lost ALLLLL perspective WGT. Not just with this "virtual game" but more importantly, in REAL LIFE as well. You may want to take a look at yourselves and where you are at after you read.

Our local radio station every year has the 24 hour Make a Wish show. What the radio station does is auction off all sorts of sports memorabilia, very nice gift packages, trips for 2 , dinner packages, Theater tickets , concert tickets, etc,,etc,, to radio callers bidding on a certain item or package deal. The highest bid wins the prize with all proceeds going to Make a Wish Foundation. Well, here is where I come in. My wife and I had dinner with local sports great and his girlfriend which also included theater tickets ALL for a final bid of $800.00, my bid. This $800.00 goes to Make a Wish Foundation so a child with a chronic disease can have that 1 last trip to Disney, or to go somewhere they have ALWAYS wanted to go, or to go on an excursion they always wanted to try or whatever there wish may be. It is a GREAT way to give back and an indescribable feeling knowing your helping that child make his or her wish come true.

My point - $800.00 and look at how many lives that money touched. I’ll say it again - $800.00.

My point II – With all due respect, MisterWGT wants a $1000.00 to “chat” with him for 1 hour ON THE PHONE. As I mention WGT – GET A GRIP ON REALITY. This game is “virtual” . It is “computer animation”. What could you possibly “chat” about for 1 full hour. R U KIDDING ME. Again, get a grip guys, seriously. You have lost perspective my friends and that IS NOT healthy in anyway.
