Unfortunately many players suffered the wrath of disconnections at an alarming rate., with up to 5 cards having to be completed to finish a round. Some players withdrew because of it. It certainly put a dampner on the weekends' event.
Rlweller proved too strong leading from start to finish with a creditable gross 70 (level par) and followed up with a magnificent gross 59 (13 under) at St Andrews Ray wins a club of his choice for the first recorded eagle at the 4th at Oakmont. Runner up on countback is Geordieles with 2 solid rounds Oakmont gross 67 and St andrews Gross 63 In third spot came 57kro with gross rounds of 72 and 67 respectively.
Congratulations to the above winners and well done to those that managed to finish a difficult weekend due to disconnections etc.
