  Nope, wasn't lucky enough but I did come to within 11 feet.   How did you do at taking your best shot at 50,000 credits?   Great contest WGT and I sure would like aother shot at it.

  Nice going, Stan.   Great shot.   I guess were going to have more than 1 winner.   First one that hits a .02 gets a consulation prize of a sleeve of balls of their choice.   PS;   don't forget that replay.

  I played this challenge and didn't read the directions right.   Made an ace on the 3rd hole and thought I had won 50,000 credits, later I realized that the ace is only on the 7th hole of the challenge.  I did get it to within 6 feet on that hole and had a decent score for the challenge.

  I was wondering how they will spread the credits, didn't see anything except the 50k for the ace but with 50 credits to enter and 10,000 entries that get 500,000 credits and I don't think we will have 10 aces on number 7 in a single play game.

  WELL...  

  got to # 7  ..finger was feel'n it ... wind was 5mph at bout 10 Oclock .. set the aimer center green ..since i have a habit of click'n a tad erly ,,figure'd i would on this pressure shot ...

  took deep breath... an slid the power bar left..with the 5 iron in my hand... and let'er go...

  click'd just a pinch B4 the ding line ,just as i assumed i would...OMG!! . HEART BEATS..!! 

  KA THUMP ...KA THUMP ... !!   i see a nice lil draw ..head out ..turning right at it ...KA THUMP..  KA THUMP ...  a slight grin is growing ..

  then ... THUNK ...it lands an only hop's bout 6 inches... :(  .. 4 ft. from the hole... i had put just a tad more bottom than i normally do .... (dad burn it) .. 

  BUT .. gotta say ..i would gladly pay 50 creds..for the adrenalin rush anytime.. was a blast !

  Iknow the feeling Flashy. I shot a personal best on 9 holes this morning and then tried my luck at the pot of gold.   Deflop says he shot one wihin 1.5 feet.   I didn't know it went that close without going in.   I would have taken that for the consolation prize. Again, great story.   just dandy   Merry Christmas

  This is one of the few really good and interesting contests on WGT and what they need to learn is that everyone is always willing to plunk in 50 credits for a chance to win 50,000.  I would do this every month if I were them.

  Worse case is they lose a few credits, which can only be spent in their pro shop.  I don't know how many aces on 7 there will be but in a single play you won't have that many.  I played in many member guest golf tournaments in my life.  One at an old country club gave away a car for an ace on the 11th hole (par 3 of about 165).  Had the tournament for 32 years without an ace and then had 3 in 4 years.

  Another tourney I played in gave away a Porsche for an ace on the 13th 225 over water tough pin.  Friend of mine aced it, had to sell the car to pay taxes but he did drive it for a week before the dealer took it back.

  These things just get the whole group going.

  I hit a great shot, looked like it was going to go but just ran out of steam and stopped 3 feet from the hole. But it was the closest i had ever gotten to that hole.

  Fair playto you Stan, I used up my luck when I aced the 3rd, a well they say taking part is the main thing,,,,,,, bull  hahahaha
