The main thing to remember is the meter speed. If you can handle the faster speed of the R11's it is a no brainer. They are better but if you have trouble with faster meter speeds then you might consider the Bladez.  They are very good and the slightly slower meter speed really helps. I was starting to struggle with the faster meter speeds  of the R11's(i'm 66 and my reflexes seem to be slowing down every day) so I bought them and have used them exclusively for the last 3 weeks. I still have the R11's but haven't used them since i got the Bladez. You lose a little distance but with judicious use of spin they can be very good.

Thank you, I was hoping for a reply like this. I  sometimes struggle myself with the meter speed when I'm tired from work. My Ping G20's level 59 are great irons but they don't always make it to the green on the higher elevations. I was looking for something like these irons to get me there and easy to play with. Especially when using the lower level WGT balls. Do not want to have to get a 2nd job just to pay for golf balls...LOL

I will still keep my G20's to be able to change up between the different course elevations and wind speeds. I was very lucky to have obtained almost half of the price of these irons in video credits alone. Taking advantage of all the extra videos around the holidays for credits.

    God Bless!

    Merry Christmas!

Agree 100%.  54 yrs old and struggling with different meter speeds. Slow g20 driver meter, a 2pm Burners meter, and a 12n CG wedges meter.

I used Burners since lvl 79, and loved them, but traded for the Bladez within days of them being available.  Same irons with a 12n meter, which now matches R11 3w and CG wedges.  The day I turn lvl 88 I'll trade the g20 dvr for R11, and all my clubs will be same meter speed.

It has helped me immensely.  BTW, I know quite a few Leg's and TL's who have added Bladez to their bags, and for the same reasons.

Ive used the level 59 G20's from when they were eligable to me, i loved them and was considering upgrading to the level 83 G20's once i reached master, looked at the burners, then they were gone and replaced with the level 79 Bladz, i bit the bullet and spent the credits on the Bladz, as apposed to the G20's, bottom line, absolutely love 'em, considering the first iron shot i hit was at BPB #15, to 2ft, missed the putt tho but that sold them to me. will probably have a crack at the R11's when eligable.

I purchased the R11's when they first came out.

To me they are the best set of clubs on the market.

The last few weeks the meter speed of the R11's have been way too fast for my 52 going 80 year old brain to handle...lol.... this morning might have been the last straw, warp speed meter is not for me.

I checked my Equipment....   I still had the burners and the I15's, but they both had the same meter speed as the R11's (on the specs picture).

I Rented the Bladz.... wow, meter speed perfect.

Ok,    Comparing the 2 sets, Jury is still out... I've just had 2 games with the new ones.

The Bladz has 5yrds less for most of the Irons.

I lose the 225yrd 3 Iron and the 120 yrd PW in the R11 set.   The R11's Stop on the greens quicker.

The big plus for me is the slower meter and I think I can adapt to the distance in Irons.

The Next game might be different that could change my mind,....   but I like the meter speed... Huge Plus from me.

EDIT :    Just curious, checking out the Pro Shop... Has Wgt Taken out the Burners or was it my eyes that didn't spot em.

Just bought them myself for Christmas tonight. Thanks to the 2 weeks worth of video credits I accumulated. I even tried them with the 10 cent one dot spin ball and was able to make the ding most of the time. It was twice as fast using my level G20 irons. Slowed down enough to ding with the GI2-S balls with two dots of feel. I like them a lot. There was two holes on Kiawah that I just could not reach due to elevation with the G20's but managed to do so with the Bladez fairly easy. So the trajectory is definitely higher then my G20's are. Also on paper they both have the same 2 1/2 dot forgiveness but it seems they are a little more forgiving then my G20's, maybe it's because of the added precision and spin to make up for this.

    Great Irons!

    2 thumbs up

Yup, they just slowed the meter down and re-named them. :)

Actually did some research about them before getting them. They are somewhat like the old Burners but a new and improved set.  One review stated:

launched higher, climbed higher, and provided extremely consistent distance.

new iron boasts a thinner face that adds up to 10 COR points over the Burner 2.0, and a center of gravity that’s's 2.5mm lower than those same Burners. You would have to hit your ball with extreme top spin for them to not hit straight

    Another partial review:

The RocketBladez is stupid easy to hit…and hit straight

Unless you’re unearthing gophers (which I did a few times) there appears to be almost zero penalty for missing the center of the clubface.
