If you struggle to be accurate with the G20's then there is no hope of you being accurate with the R11's.

Personally I am too low level to use either of the aforementioned sets, but from my experience with the first rocketbladez set, its complete trash, so don't know if the second is a marked improvement.

My suggestion is just to work on your analysis of shots and think a bit more, I am using clubs with very very poor precision and I have gone 18 holes averaging about 10ft from the pin, it really isn't as much down to the clubs as you think it is.

If it were me, I would buy the R11's, when that time comes, I definately will, but the choice of G20 over rocketbladez, G20 everyday of the week.

The higher level Bladez are a  cut above the G20's better distance, accuracy, and better stopping power. They rival the R11's with the exception of 3 and 4 iron. The slower meter really helps us older guys who struggle with the R11's like I do at times.

Very nice precision with these irons and extremely fun to play with once you dial them in.

Meter speed is just a little faster then level 59 G20's so easy to get use to after a couple rounds.

    Happy New Year!

Well, I must say I gave the new Bladez a try and, not only for a round or two but several (more than 2 weeks worth)...and the Oscar goes to......(drum roll please!!!)

    R11's by a landslide!!!

I liked the fact of having all clubs evenly matched with the same meter speed...

BUT, they dropped the ball when they gave the 3i only a 220y and the PW 125y...a very crucial 5 yard difference that is a deal breaker for me...too many holes that need those 5y increments and that, coupled with the slight difference in spin/stopping power is detrimental!!!

These are definitely a set to rent before you buy...although it'd be best to just keep your money and hold out for the R11's!!!

Sorry to have to hijack this thread but it seems it's quite active and I have a dilemma.

I've been keeping tabs on this thread for a while now because I'm only just under 4k XP from L79 and I'm looking to get the Bladez over the L83 G20's.

I play everyday when I can but maybe 3 rounds per day max so as not to have to buy balls so often. Plus I can only afford to get credits through vids and such. So I may get to L79 by the start of the New Year or thereabouts.....but L83, and definitely L88, are miles away at the moment.

I'm playing with L59 G20's, which I like and have got them sussed, and I'm shooting regular low 60/30 and the occasional high 50/20 with them from legend tees (my improved putting has become a major factor in those scores having just got my one putt above 50% and climbing). But my main problem is the longer par 4's.....Best of hardest is a killer for me, for example.

I can compete sufficiently against the top guys in my CC......All around L90 with the R11's........So as to win enough creds to keep me going.....And I now have 5k saved, ready for my next set.

So my question is.....Are the Bladez sufficiently better than the L59 G20's (or even the L83) to take me to the next level of playing (provided my putting keeps improving that is) whilst I start to save again for the R11's, which are about 6 months(ish) away at my current play rate?

Or should I keep my creds and wait?

trust me .. the Bladez are head & shoulders above any other iron set on WGT .. with the exception of the R11's which are a tad better ..

the G20's performance is way inferior to the Bladez .. u'll notice the difference immediately .. u just gotta be very close to or on ding .. Bladez have substantially more stopping power, better accuracy & higher trajectory than G20's .. gotta allow bit more for wind drift with Bladez compared to G20's ..

once u've dialed in the Bladez, i suspect u'll drop ur scores even further ..
