  Thanks for the swift response Chris.

  I was pretty much 60/40 Bladez over G20's but will def get em now a top player has recommended em.

  Also I have just shot a 59 on RSG with 2 missed 8ft sitters and a bogey on the last, so I can't wait to get hold of em and break my 58 best.

  I was also thinking of moving up to the Nike ball to slow the meter down a bit. Will this help?

  yes it will .. moreover, the Nike balls provide better distance and more spin control .. i use the lvl71 Nike myself .. 5 dots distance & 4 dots spin .. but any of the Nike balls combined with Bladez will stop the ball dead most of the time with full back spin .. depends on the type of approach game u prefer .. i use full back on almost all approaches .. but u gotta be on ding or damn close to get the required result .. gud luck

  I play full backspin at moment unless I'm a good distance away ( 3 & 4 iron) and the G20's do stick if you ding em except for the 2 long irons.......that's when I have to try and figure landing area and roll out, and that's where the long par 4's kill me.

  Although I think not being able to stop a long iron is more true to real golf than the game is now, it still doesn't help me compete in the RG's or other premium touneys.

  Anyway thanks for the advice and hope to see you on the leaderboard pretty soon.

  Bought the Bladez today after using Level 83 G20 for quite a while first thing I had to do was to get rid of the G20 "full backspin". The Bladez stops usually very good without spin at all that gives you plenty of possibility to add spin when it is really necessary and that in turn gives you more flexibility and easier to get the right distance. I was surprised the difference was so big. Great clubs. R11 is probably better, but I doubt the step between R11 and Bladez is as big as difference between G20 and the Bladez

  Sorry to have to hijack this thread but it seems it's quite active and I have a dilemma. 

  I've been keeping tabs on this thread for a while now because I'm only just under 4k XP from L79 and I'm looking to get the Bladez over the L83 G20's.

  I play everyday when I can but maybe 3 rounds per day max so as not to have to buy balls so often. Plus I can only afford to get credits through vids and such. So I may get to L79 by the start of the New Year or thereabouts.....but L83, and definitely L88, are miles away at the moment.

  I'm playing with L59 G20's, which I like and have got them sussed, and I'm shooting regular low 60/30 and the occasional high 50/20 with them from legend tees (my improved putting has become a major factor in those scores having just got my one putt above 50% and climbing). But my main problem is the longer par 4's.....Best of hardest is a killer for me, for example.

  I can compete sufficiently against the top guys in my CC......All around L90 with the R11's........So as to win enough creds to keep me going.....And I now have 5k saved, ready for my next set.

  So my question is.....Are the Bladez sufficiently better than the L59 G20's (or even the L83) to take me to the next level of playing (provided my putting keeps improving that is) whilst I start to save again for the R11's, which are about 6 months(ish) away at my current play rate?

  Or should I keep my creds and wait?

  I got them... dont wait they are great. I figure by the time I make the upper levels it will be a long time. I ended up making TM wiht these clubs,

  Hi  guys,

  Can I ask advice on the same subject please, I'm  on Tour Pro Level 75   68.88 unlikely to get much lower, my game is a bit erratic I generally will be 3 over on 9 holes but can  also  play  level and as much as 3 under. but have also finished 4 under on 18 holes although generally it will be 8 over. I just  play for the fun of it usually a couple of 9 holes a day.

  I have the Level 32 R11 Irons they seem to be great clubs, i need a lot of forgiveness as per my  3 over par game, I was thinking of getting the Taylor Made RBZ Level 68's just  because they have a little more choice with distance at 105-210 from my  11's at 110-205 and the RBZ's have a slower meter, I don't know if it makes a difference but i use Callaway is balls which  stop dead except with the 3 iron

  But reading the reviews under the clubs generally they're not favoured above my R11's and mainly it seems to be the trajectory that's a problem, so given my  usual game any comments ?

  To be honest, the RBZ Level 68 does not seem to be much better than your current çlubs. They also have a lower trajectory which should make them stop worse than your R11. You are quite close to Level 79 so I suggest you wait until then and get the Bladez

  There have been a couple of people who have answered this, but I was hoping to get a few more opinions:

  I've been using Taylormade Burner 2.0 (L76+) for quite a while. I've always wanted my clubs to have matching meters, but that wasn't really feasible until the Bladez came out. I have the level for the R11s, so I'm left with the dilemma: 

  I'm used to the increments of the Burners/Bladez, so it wouldn't require a change in my game, and I would have matching meters. But, apart from the meter, the R11s are objectively better clubs. 

  I typically use low level Callaway balls, and can't afford both an upgrade of clubs and an upgrade in quality of balls. So, stand pat, Bladez, or R11s?

  I think one way of getting an idea of how you handle the meter speed is to practice with your clubs and a cheap ball with little feel. Maybe someone here can give you a hint of what combination of Taylormade Burner 2.0 (L76+) + ? ball would roughly compare to R11 + Callaway.
  
  For me, it feels like the Bladez are the better option with the slower meter but on the other hand, the meter is faster than my old G20 and I ding just as often. Or maybe better expressed as 'just as seldom'.
  
  For some reason slow meter feels less predictable, I get small meter hickups and sometimes the meter accelerates heavy just around ding point with the G20 and that does not seem to happen as often with the Bladez. Might be imagination, but it sure feels like that.
  
  I rarely get a perfect meter these days though and that really takes a lot of fun out of the game.

  I also used Burners since L79+ and switched to Bladez to match meter speeds with my R11 3w and CG wedges.  I'll buy R11 driver at L88.

  However, if I was making this decision at L90 as you are, and IF the faster meter speed of your Burners compared to your R11's and CG's doesn't bother you, I'd buy the R11 irons in a minute.

  Some R11 legends I know use low spin Cally's, instead of high spin Nike's for eg, and have learned to not rely on backspin to get close.  They know precisely what rollout is using those irons and less costly balls, both with bspin and without it.
