It does bother me, a bit. Well, sometimes it bothers me. Sometimes I really notice a difference (and my performance suffers) and other times I'd swear they were identical. I guess that's the root of my question: *how much* better than the Bladez/Burners are the R11s?

Wish the Bladez had been out when I bought my Burners. Would be saving me a lot of hair pulling right now haha.

The same thought went through my head, lol.  Even as a more expensive option to the Burners.

Good luck with your decision.  The extra 5 yds on R11 3i (225) comes in handy on holes like BP#3.  Gets you just onto the green and rolling to the hole.

An don't forget that little bit of extra forgiveness and spin.

Funny with the Bladez, if you are 1-2 lines off it is hardly noticeable, but 3 and more and flies off like a frightened Gnu in a stolen jet pack.

IMO the L59 G20's are already plenty of club for only the master tees. Perhaps sharpen your play with those clubs before upgrading and spending credits chasing something that's not there.

I completely agree.  Also, remember all, you are playing a video game.  Hitting that ding is a very important aspect of your game.  Therefore, meter speed is important!

When he reaches the Legend tier, absolutely!  However, he can gain that extra 5 yards by buying the level 81 (I think) G20 irons.  The meter speed is only a bit faster.

I wonder how much better one set of irons are to another.  Upper level irons are probably the same.  After all, there are too many variables to factor in, such as the wind, distance control, spin, and other things.  Find a set where the meter speed works for you and your 3i goes at least 200 yards.  Happy hitting!

I got Legend with L59 G20 and I am far from alone. Although I can manage Legend tees with them as well, but you can hear them creeking!

However If you want to improve your game then definitely the R11s, How do I know? The vast majority of top players use them.

    Hello,

I need some help in deciding what irons to get. I am already using the Ping G20 level 59 irons but wanted to upgrade to longer irons since I made Master Tier.

This is what I'm looking for:

More forgiveness - can hit the ding most of the time but when I'm tired would like some forgiveness when I don't . Also would like more options in ball choices.

Little More Precision - better then my G20 irons, when I do miss the ding by a hair , my shots suffer greatly. Usually off by 5-10 yards.

I want to enjoy the game and have a few decent rounds.

I know from other opinions that the R11's are the top of the line but if I can not be consistent in hitting the ding ( sometimes I miss on purpose for shot shaping) I would rather go with the Rocketbladez with more forgiveness.

Just wanted more opinions since there is not much reviews on them in the Pro shop and some are rather outdated.

    Thank You

    Joe

I would say if you don't have a problem with the speed of the meter then R11s, if you have a problem then go with the rocketbldez.
