A small but capable group of owners. I like it so I'm definitely in. :)

    And I vote Oakmont.

    Fraenkel:
    Sent my format to Shrude.

    as below

idea was to had a rannking based on the Ryder Cup bracket. We could create the same one or even a league where we could play the WGT's weekly tours, both 9 and 18 "one shot", and gone to the playoff. We already had this type of league but it's only for italian members.

I think in this instance , lets keep it really simple?

    Heres a suggestion;

Round 1 -  10 players  for 5 matches - 5 winners all  winners of these 5 games need to save & post their score cards.

The player with the largest win margin in round 1 , according to their posted score card  (including countback) will have a bye for round 2

Round 2 -  4 players for 2 matches - Winners Save & Post score cards. The player with the largest margin plays the player from round 1 who sat on the side.

Round 3 -  the 2 players with large margin score cards from round 1 & 2.

The Final - winner of round 3 plays the player who had the bye from round 2.

We have 3 votes now for Bethpage.

So lets make Bethpage round 1

I will vote for Best of Famous, making 2 votes for that, so that will be round 2

Round three Will be Congressional being the next voted for in line.

    The Final will be Oakmont.

Lobsterboy suggested 9 holes for round 1 and 18 for all other rounds?

as well as a 7 day time fram for each round to be completed.

Are we all ok with that?

If so and are happy with the above suggested rounds

Could someone please look at this final 10 players we have, and match them up into pairs according to Tier/Average then Level
Eg; round1 should have the 4 Tour Legends playing each other, match them up according to Avge.

I guess, once we come to an agreement on everything, we can get the ball rolling hey!

    :o)

    Agreed!

I don't get it if round 2 is two or three matches, but someone will show me the way after round 1.

This is a possible draw, by tier, then by average, with minor adjustments because of the time zones.

    Anything is fine by me.

One question...  what happens if we have the dreaded disconnect.  Do we lose if we can't get back in time or replay match.

2 matches, the largest margin player from round one has a bye in round two

and the largest margin player from round 2 gets a bye for round 3-  & plays in the final.

Someone else might have some ideas on this, if it is on the first hole just start again I guess, Maybe it is up to the discretion of the players in the match and can be decided on before the game begins?

Maybe both players would agree to resume the game from the disconnect hole, if a scorecard can be saved by ONE of the players at the time of disconnect, then two score cards would be submitted, one showing the original game and indicating the hole prior to disconnect and the next would be the resuming game and the score would officially begin from the hole at time of disconnect.

    We should name it.

How about somethings like "Presidents MP Trophy"?
    Put you ideas here mates!

    Good one indeed.

    Salut,
    Davide.

    I like that name proposal!

So, who's playing round 3? The guy from round 1, against...? Isn't it the same "biggest margin" leader from round 2?

And what about the second guy winning in round 2? Has he another game?

Which consequences has it to lose round 3?

AFAIS the leader of round 1 plays against the leader of round 2 in round 3, and the same opponents are in the final - impossible!

    I just don't get it...
