How about a little league and then a scored matchplay?

Here's the link to the spreadsheet.

Should I write-protect it or leave it open to the world?

The Draw is a bit confusing I agree.

How about the 3 best losers go to the next rnd.

That means only 2 golfers will be sadly out of comp and there will be 8 in the second round and becomes knockout from there.

Edit...   If there is a tie for the best losers...  then the hole they finished the game on will be taken into account.   The person with the highest finishing hole will go through.

eg   Lost  1dn on the 12 hole will beat  lost 1dn on the 9th hole

    Agree with Roger.

Losing only 2 players makes things easy but, personally, I think it's a shame lost some presidents during those round. Having a league could be a better solution but change me to the boring dude that I'm not.

So the compensation is to had more players.
We need a fu***ng advert banner, ehehehe.

    Cheers,
    Davide.

    P.S.: Title sounds good.

Nice spreadsheet alosso and thanks for doing the pairings . . . leave it open to the world IMO :)

    1 question . . . front or back 9 on BPB?

Lot's of questions about the format but will just play the match and see what happens lol.

    +2 on the title

Good luck and have fun everyone!

    Yes, Great Title.

I vote for Front 9 Beth, if that's the course.

    Great spread sheet too.

The CC Owners League sounds great, lets get this comp finished first.

We can start a new CC Owners League now, if we want to.

Over a few months (depending on the amount of CC's)... Round Robin and the Final 4 go into Finals or something like that.

For our M/Play comp.... I would like to donate a few pack of Balls for the Winner. Except Legend golf balls, which are not giftable.

    Agreed! TY Alosso!
If i am able to edit that, perhaps I can colour the players who are having the BYE in each round as they  progress?

    Very nice!
    I will too.

Now as far as this confusing format.

Let me see if I have it right, i will dissect it here.

Round 1 -  10 players  for 5 matches = 5 winners all  winners of these 5 games need to save & post their score cards.

The player with the largest win margin in round 1 , according to their posted score card  (including countback) will have a bye for round 2

Round 2 -  4 (remaining) players for 2 matches = 2 Winners, Save & Post score cards. The player with the largest margin in this round plays the player from round 1 who sat on the side
One player left on the side from this round.

Round 3 -  the 2 players with large margin score cards from round 1 & 2. Leaving one player from round 2

The Final - winner of round 3 plays the player who had the bye from round 2.

Yeah  it needs better explanation - its confusing me TOO!
ALTHOUGH,   the  player with the highest margin (biggest lead) should enjoy the Byes

    so lets try this explanation:

Round 1 -  10 players  for 5 matches = 5 winners all  winners of these 5 games need to save & post their score cards.

The player with the largest win margin in round 1 , according to their posted score card  (including countback) will have a bye for round 2

Round 2 -  4 (remaining) players for 2 matches (+ one player in bye) = 2 Winners, (Save & Post score cards).
The player with the lowest margin in this round plays the player from round 1 (in bye) in round 3
One winner from this round (with the largest margin) is moved to the final

Round 3 -  2 players - the player with lowest margin score card from round2 plays the remaining winner of round 1 . One player doesnt play round 3 & is in the final

The Final - The winner from Round 3 playing the winner from round 2 (with the higher margin.)

           Hows that?

Does anyone not know how to save and post their scorecard?

Take an original from the internet somewhere....

and I use PaintShop Pro to edit the original.

paint.net is a free program that can do this kind of editing too.
