    Bladez are far superior ..

I agree, more distance & accuracy.

    Pd: I have G20's L59 and still waiting for the R11's L90

So you have not tried any of the clubs I wanted to discuss? :)

    Yes, I rented them once.

For me the spin difference is another important issue.

Very nice shot, Joseph! Yes, the clubs are great. Actually, seems like I will win my first tournament with them, the first day. I also made my best ever 9 hole round, 27, in another ready go today so I might win that one also :)

    there u go .. case closed ..

incidentally, i have played with the lvl59 & 83 G20's as well .. i'm not sure why the top lvl G20's are more expensive than the Bladez & only available 4 lvls up from the Bladez .. but they are really pitiful once u see what clubs like the Bladez & R11's can do ..

Chris... If you notice the  L81 G20 he owns is his driver...His 3W is the L59 G20...His Irons are the L90 R11's  with Cleve wedges & currently shows using XD balls.

The only possible thing he can be talking about is driving, for which the closest highest level RBZ is the L69 275yd driver vs the L81 G20 at 280. So yes he can out shoot that club given they both are using the same ball.

    ah .. confusion ..

at a quick glance i thought he was referring to Bladez vs G20 irons .. since this is a discussion about Bladez & not about RBallz .. my bad

    Tightrope:

I have used ping most of my career but I got curious and rented the RBZ yesterday. They are cheaper than the G20 and comes two levels earlier so I somehow assumed that the G20 was somewhat sharper but my impression after a few rounds with the RBZ is that they are quite a lot better. They need to be dinged, that's for sure, the half dot of forgiveness is really noticeable. On the other hand - I seem to ding them more often. Don't ask me why, coz meter speed is higher...

    So, according to my experience:

Predictability: RBZ wins by a mile. Mostly due to distance predictability. The G20, specially with the Nike balls, behave really weird when you put a lot of backspin on it and since they don't bite well, you need backspin.
    Round to: RBZ

Precision: To be honest, I never felt the G20 lack in precision, if I ding, they seem to fly at the path that is to be expected. Apart from the distance (see above). However - the RBZ stops where you want them to. Very noticeable on the long irons and elevated greens.
    Round to: RBZ

Scaling: I find it odd that the RBZ's PW is 125 yards. after that there is 135 & 145, only 10 yds in between. I guess it is good if you carry 3 wedges but the longest iron is 220, not really enough for me to feel comfortable leaving the rescue at home.
Sure, the 220 is better than the 215 G20, but the 110 yds PW in the G20 set is short enough to go with 2 wedges and the rescue.
    Dilemma here.
    60-80-125-135-145-160 is a weird stepping.
    Round to: G20

Meter: RBZ is faster, but I dont notice any difference really.
    Round to: Tie

Does anyone have anything to say in G20's defence? Something that can convince me I could as well stay with the G20 :)

I had the G20s and when the RBZ's came out I rented them. The G20s are in the junk pile now. I will rent the R11s when I get to that level and try them. I don't know if i will be able to handle the meter speed though.

To me the RBZs have a much better yardage range than the G20s. I don't have a problem hitting the ding with the RBZs since I use wgt caddy now.

You can punch the RBZ PW (108 yards) which helps fill the gap. Having said that I usually carry 3 wedges.

I did have the upper level G20's but ditched them after trying the RBZ's

In defense of the G20's the slower meter and extra forgiveness may suit some people.
