im afraid im totally lost here... where do i go to get clear instructions as to what happens next?  has round 2 started yet? who is my playing partner? is it same as round 1? course conditions etc?

Playing partner same as round 1.
    Round 2 starts today 1/20/2013

    Course conditions: St. Andrews
    Medium holes
    Yellow tees
    Fast greens
    High winds

Thanks Shiner! Just a reminder everyone. All the info you will need for the tourney is in my first 3 posts of the Opening Page of the Thread. Copied here:

All rounds to be completed within the allotted time frame (from the start of one weekend to the end of the next; note overlapping weekends to give maximum time for rounds to be played).

    Round 1 - start Saturday 12th January, 2013, finish Sunday 20th January.

    Round 2 - start Saturday 19th January, 2013, finish Sunday 27th January.

Round 2 – St Andrews: 18 holes, Medium hole locations, Yellow (Medium) tees, Fast greens, High wind, Uneven Lies.

Here is the 2nd Round Score Submission link

Also, this from a couple of pages back:

    Corwyn:

Please remember that St Andrew's is open for the 2nd Round starting Saturday 1/19, so feel free to set up your second round games as early as this weekend if you wish. Same playing partners for Round 2. (For 3rd and 4th round, we will re-pair players based, as closely as possible, on leaderboard position).

    hyena64:
Is it possible to flip between front/back 9 on multi-player cards once the round is over the way you can with singles, therefore allowing both to be shot post game; or must the front & back card screenshot be taken as they happen?  Sorry if it's been answered previously, & for my ignorance.  Thanks.

    Hanswurst72:
of course, use the front/back left above the scores for it..

Yes, you can still view Front 9 as well as Back 9 scorecards at the end of the round as Hans describes... and to reassure you on your other question, they can be taken post game: thus, the only shots needed to be taken during actual game play are the approach/greenshots on one of the last five (and any others you take earlier as a precaution in case of disconnect).

    Phaxda:

Very nice result, Phil! You might have found the only way possible to get close to that horrible pin position.. lol

Marker Needed: Phil (Phaxda) still looking for a marker tonight, Sun 1/20 at 8pm PST (Mon 1/21 4am GMT). Can anyone help him out?

And Phil, can you please re-enter the info on the submission form with your new time availability so I can fix you up with a confirmed partner for each of the remaining rounds.

That is the back 9, I screwed up on hitting fairways, cost me dearly.

Hi Joe, don't forget to submit your score formally via this link: you'll need to add front and back 9s together (which might get a little tricky with the stat percentages). You do it, and I'll check if it makes sense.

[And re the stats, it's worth knowing that the Ave. Distance to the Pin calculation is only based on GIR holes... with the exception of Par 3s. Par 3s do count towards GIR but not towards Ave. Distance to the Pin.]

Filling out the form now but also posting here to say that I am available this morning -- as in right now -- as well! Woke up early... some nightmare where I was playing my favorite golf game with clubs that don't it the ball very far and a ball that never stops rollin... HEY WAIT A SECOND THAT WASN'T A DREAM!

FYI, I hit that pin and then missed the putt. aaagh!

First off thank you so much to Macduff10, who spotted me last-minute, was awesome to play with and very patient as I encountered a real bad case of the yiperoos, missing a TON of putts from under 3 feet or so. Also beat me handily, I might add! I believe this round puts me in last place--plenty of room for improvement! Near the end I also has some other distractions--my caddy got extra cranky.

    That said, onto the shots!

    Front - 2 birds! But... #5 was a killer.

Back 9, just missed every putt I took! Couple of nice par 3s by all players, though!

Approach at 18 -- the ordeal nears its end!

Green on 17... also where Mac makes a wholly untrue statement - certainly not an idiot!

Approach stats - this could put me in the running, eh?! Stats lie.

The disaster that was my putting...

    Overall stats:

Last but not least, my caddy at her finest...

Thanks again, Mac! Thanks also of course to Corwyn for the organization and help!
