CerinoDevoti: I think I'll be playing my second round this evening. This morning I shot 6 under 66 in a practice round. I missed the ding on three birdie putts that could have had me shoot 9 under. If only my putter finds heat again tonight. :)
66 is a great round in high winds, you may get lucky and have favourable winds, but if they are in your face it's murder.
I've found that dinging the starter putter is irrelevant, I have figured playing aiming and missing ding works for me. The only putt i dinged on purpose was a 7ft birdie putt that was straight, and it went left!
Have just had my 1st practice on Olympic. Those sloping fairways and elevations are murder with the low flight of the clubs.....managed a 74 in the end.
