I just got a Kindle Fire HD.  I believe the issue with google play and android products is due to the competition since google came out with their own tablet

I think you both are missing his question. I believe he is talking about here and not the mobile version. If it were the mobile version he wouldn't even be able to have it on his android tablet because as you said it is for IOS only right now. There have been a few members who say they have played on a tablet. I seem to recall Sam (Bolluxinbruges) saying something about an adapter to allow you to use a mouse with a Samsung Galaxy tablet.

It's a USB 'on the go' cable, paid 97 cents or something w/ free shipping on amazon for it.  It was my galaxy s3 phone running 4.0.4 (at the time on 4.1 now), haven't tried playing on my nexus 7 yet as I haven't bother to take the time to sideload flash on it, its running 4.2.1 which of course doesn't officially support flash.

The experience on the phone is not real great, decent choppyness to the meter, would guess par would be about the best I could go, and prob lose about a ball per 9 on average.

The new generation of phones/tablets w/ quadcore processors and 2gigs of ram could probably run it pretty well.

thank you - yes, jeffdos is correct - i CAN play on my acer a500 - the problem is that i can't 'make contact' - i take the club back, but have no way to 'click' when i reach the 'impact zone' - i believe someone said something about a mouse and adapter - thanks, i'll try that and report back.  actually the game is very good resolution and the speed appears to be about the same - haven't tried to change clubs or aim or anything other than just hitting the ball.  thanks to all who commented!

If your tablet has a USB port, any wired mouse might/should work. At first, I tried it without a mouse, but the touch screen just didn't respond quick enough to click anywhere near the ding. I had a couple of wired mice laying around, plugged one in and I could actually play more or less normal... just a lot slower.

FWIW, I've also managed to play on my android smartphone ( thru the browser, not an app) running Gingerbread 2.3. That was really rough b/c of the touchscreen and only a 3.5" screen.

With the current release of Android dropping Flash support, our hope to play on modern tablets from this day forward is for them to release an app or rewrite the game in html 5.

I personally think WGT Lite plays well upscaled on the ipad that you can see the game can play really well with on a tablet with UI tweeks.  However the UI of the website would be hard to replicate

Even though Google stopped offering flash through Google Play you can still get flash for android devices. You just have to go to Adobe's web site and download it from the flash player archives. I have flash on my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone that I got that way.  As the previous poster said playing this way isn't easy because the screen is so small but it can be done.

I found a new browser for android phones, Dolphin browser. It has a full screen mode so the touch screen doesn't move or re-size when you try to move the meter like many of the other browsers do. But like you said the small screen size makes it hard to play but not impossible.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 but can't log in to my wgt account. Is there something i need to add to it to be able to do this?

I went to adobe website but it says it's not supported on this device.

No worries i sorted it now :)
