    Fraenkel:

A sleeve of WGT B-ES balls to the first one who buy a custom WGT avatar.

Agent Gibbs' (NCIS) slap to the back of the head for anybody giving away 500.000 crs for an item of unknown consistency, a baseball bat being well deserved.

Pizza, which options are available regarding skin and hair colour, clothing design, shoes, gloves, additional items like caps, glasses etc?

Will it be customized individually, "handcrafted"? Will it be a model kit with several possible selections?

The shop says nothing about this!

Is there a better channel for expressing our views other than here that would get a reply from people with their hands tied a bit looser, so that they can actually write?

you could spend $1000 USD  and talk to Chad himself ....

Pizza would you happen to know or be able to find out just how many people have actually received gift cards through accumulation of credits?

I dare say there's a few but as a percentage of the the number of regular players it must be tiny. For those talented enough to be able to achieve this then the withdrawal of said cards is a blow. Seriously though, is the continual credit chase the reason you play this game?

I find it a depressing thought that people would give up playing the game purely on the basis they feel credits are worthless. This is after all a pastime not professional sport.

    WGTpizza:
    Time will tell.

I see, so once this initial fuss has died down and all the top players now have left WGT and dispersed their credits via Paypal into the community.

You will have a whole new breed of top players who are oblivious to the previous gift cards and other reasonable offers.

Who will now aspire to have a customisable avatar as their ultimate goal in WGT.

So, "time will heal all wounds" is what you are saying.

    WGTpizza:
WGT has a marketing department that decides the cost of items in the pro shop.

Based on the direction of the CEO.

    WGTpizza:
Based on feedback and sales, they adjust those prices.

So, you place an item in the Elite Collection at an exorbitant price, expect the barrage of negative feedback to occur & then under the guise of, 'listening to the community" you reduce the prices by half.

    WGTpizza:
    I believe in WGT

And since you are often offering your opinion in other threads on other topics and not entirely objective tainted with subjective propoganda...

How do YOU feel about this latest development, if you were to put yourself n our shoes seeing things the way we see them?

    WGTpizza:
I went through and answered all the questions I could find, but as you can see there were only a few. I am still open to answering questions anyone has regarding this situation, so feel free to post them.

Probably true there are 15+ pages of loudly voiced opinion here on only 3 - 4 subjects.

You could probably form your own questions from those.

    Such as:

"When will you get a decent marketing/ promotions dept. with qualifications?"

"How long before you remove the bags a& Avatars from the Elite Collection and make them accessible to a wider majority of the community"

"Are there any plans on the road map to improve the site, rather than inadequate & demeaning attempts to improve revenue?"

"How do you feel that a majority of WGT are now aware of an alternative online Golf Game? and How do you feel that these latest "acts of selfishness" are driving those people to monitor this new game more closely?"

    WGTicon:
i do not have exact details, so please stay tuned :)

No offence, but this is a pretty standard phrase for those with 'WGT' in front of their nickname.

    WGTpizza:
Our marketing department does not discuss their strategies with the public,

    let me rephrase this for you;

"Our Marketing department are too naive and embarrassed to discuss their tragedies with the public"

    WGTpizza:
If I wanted a customized avatar, and I had 500,000 in winnings, I would buy one.

You wouldn't if you had been holding on to those credits to purchase a Gift Card, then have those removed, to be now offered pixels.

You might however, if you had just joined and saw these as the only options for reward.

    WGTpizza:
I have twice told you the truth now, but I've only been called a liar once - is the second one coming?

This thread is growing faster than a WGT employees ignorance.

We might ask the premium players themselves how many they received - responses anybody?

    KevinFleenor:

Actually I wasn't expressing doubt, I was passively calling you a liar.

First you say yeah, I'd pay 5000 credits for a custom avatar. ($50)

    Then it's pointed out it's actually 500,000 credits.($5000)

Then you say, yeah, I'd pay 100 times more than I orginally said I would, without batting an eye.

50 bucks for a custom avatar...I can see that. Maybe after a good week, I would too.

But 5000 bucks. $5,000.00. For an avatar.

    An Avatar.

No, you wouldn't. No one would.

But let's say for example that you TRULY would. That's a big message. A message that says winnings are worthless. A message that says the people running and working for WGT have zero relation to the people who play wgt.

The frustration in thread is maybe 10% about the price of the new avatar, bag, and phone call. But 90% of the frustration is coming from knowing that wgt is running their own agenda and ideas Without trying to improve the game itself. Country Club requests and ideas a shot down weekly. Even the putting green idea that gets brought up every few days for years gets ignored. (just address it and say why you can't do it, and put it in a skicky for christ's sake). People have asked for this and that and the other thing, want to see some more minor options, but then they get - this.

Which in turn leads to 90% of my frustration. That perhaps this game won't be around in a year or two. The customer satisfaction rate has got to be pretty low. Perhaps you could put a team on that.

Im fully aware that there are suggestions that just cannot be implemented. I know there's a "road map" wgt has that they want to follow. It's apparent, loud and clear, that the ideal "customer road map" and the "the road map" of wgt are going in opposite directions. I'm not saying WGT needs to change their course, I'm not that bold and I'm not pretending to be a know it all. I'm sure there's a plan somewhere in there. But it could be a benefit to slow down and maybe take a slight detour on that road map to let the players catch up and get on the same road.

I don't want to be one of the people who get fed up and leave. I have a cool country club with lots of cool people, and plan to have it for a while. I buy lots of Nike balls, I give away lots of Nike balls. Outside of that, I pay for my little club website and domain.  I have fun shooting low scores, and just a tad less fun shooting high scores, but still have fun. I have fun making deposits here and there, which is actually more than I pay for directv. I'm sort of involved in the game, if not invested.

I feel like the reasons to stay outweigh the reasons to leave, but sometimes reading these things put me on tilt. Don't take it as an attack on you, pizza, or on wgt... but dammit, it's frustrating at times.

    Well said!

    WGTpizza.

The update for the 13th Jan. I have heard from a few players that this update will include removing the "reverse view"  from the game.

Is this correct or is it just hogwash, There is saying what goes "if it`s not broken don`t fix it"

What is wrong with everyone today, nobody is here just for fun?

It's a video game, what you expect? WGT to pay your salary?

Just have fun ladies and gents, are more important things in life than a stupid avatar.

You dont like it, dont buy it!

“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.

For me personally,   I'm just happy to see WGT continually trying to add stuff here.  If I don't like a new product or think it cost too much, then simple,  I just don't buy it.

I have never expected to be able to get one of the gift cards from the elite collection, so from my standpoint,  it makes no matter to me.

I look at it this way,  if it keeps some of the big dogs away from the RG's, maybe more of us down here hoping to just place in the money will have a better chance to actually win some.  RG's for me, the few that I ever try and play, are there for just one thing, and that's to keep my virtual ball stock filled.

Maybe, just maybe, this will actually draw more attention to the RG's from those who would never even consider it because they knew that they didn't stand a chance.

    WGTpizza:
The prices everyone is throwing around is not a direct cost to our players. We

How is it not directed to the players,,,,, what about the players that can't enter turnys an win credits that means they would have to pay 5,000 dollars outa there own pocket just to have custom avatar, WGT Really needs to Think this over an shut down the elite shop or just make it a reasonable price an take a couple zeros off the back of them numbers cause we all know there is not going to be anyone that will even get them with those prices.......

    Jason..
