    Couple of things ?

$1,000 to chat to the owner of the game about upcoming products.

Is he really that up himself to think he is better then every1 else to charge that amount of money ? he owns a game that is all. Just an idea why don`t he get of his rear end and call some of the long standing members of this game he will learn/ get given all the information he ever needs to know about what is good for the game and what`s not. Makes sense hey!!!!

Who set this going rate per hour the monkeys what set the prices for the other stuff what was introduced where did these people get there marketing degree from the back of the cereal box. Honesty what fool would set a price of a virtual golf bag at $3,000 you can buy a real one for under $300 ? every time i log in i see (we are hiring sign) is this there first assignment coming up with stupid, unrealistic prices!!

Guess what marketing department you keep coming up with these types of things over the next X amount of time there will be next to no players and you won`t have a job (remember that) players keep the game alive.

so do what you want, when you want and at whatever price you want.

    Well said.

Sure, I can see the "elite" being upset at what is now offered instead of gift cards, but the "survey funded/credit viewing" crowd, really hasn't been affected in the least bit...unless they were wanting a customized Avatar or Bag, etc, that was affordable,

Anyway, back to waiting for another 50 or 100cr RG to open up:)

Maybe there was something good in this update........

    For WGT maybe Jim,

This is simply a link to sign up for WGT.

I didnt even see an article or any editorial of the game.

WGT managed to get a foot in the door of another advertiser.

Bottom line guys, nobody is twisting our arms to buy this stuff. So lets kill 2 birds with one stone. Everybody wants the game to be more difficult, nobody want to pay the high price.

So how do we fight this, I'll tell you everyone and I mean everyone plays with the free ball, we already have our clubs, and with the free ball it will be more difficult, plus we hit them where it hurts in the pocket book.

What they did was a total waste of programming. Yelling about it on the forum is going to do nothing, just like punitive damages you have to hit and hit um hard so this naver happens again.

Please reply if you are in agreement

What option should be considered is an organized "STRIKE" by the wgt community.

If no one is playing the game no revenue is generated. That means prospective clients (advertisers) have no reason to spend money on a company (WGT) that has no audience.

This could/would be devastating for WGT's future and they would have no one to blame but themselves.

After giving the upgrade at least 5 minutes of thought WGT is right, they are here to make money, this is not a non profit company. It takes money to produce more courses which we all want and have to pay for if we want to play but the level of prices have reached a level only Wall Street could understand. Come on WGT join the real world.

One upgrade I believe is long overdue is the reward for reaching the higher tiers. Is it still 200c for reaching Legend? It takes a lot of commitment and often some money to reach these higher tiers and the reward is not even enough to buy a set of descent balls. Such is the disparity between what is given by wgt and what is requested. These differences can cause the Wgt client to have their nose put out of joint, even if they do not desire the product offered.

Agreed. The disparity between what they request us to pay and what they give in return, is a little insulting.

It turns out to be a clickable link and it looks like WGT has their foot in the door there. They're called a free online golf game in the TRENDING banner but you click it and it takes you here.

Maybe there was something good in this update.........

    Hey Jim-

Thanks for the update. I'd love to be watching the "Golf Channel" someday and have them mention "WGT" on there.

    Hey YJ and friends,

Sorry for the lack of info on this topic, but again we are faced with legal complications. I currently cannot divulge any information on our relationship with Golf Channel, other than the fact that we have an ongoing marketing and advertising partnership with Golf Channel.

I'm told our marketing team should be making a minor announcement about this situation in the near future, so keep an eye on the forums.

    Stay classy,

So in other words "the golf channel" is buying the game, has bought the game, or is under contract currently and don`t want this information released to the public just yet as there marketing team want to promote the game.
