Hogster is one of the most respected members of the ECGA.  In his last competitive year with our cc, hogster was one of only fifteen members to complete all eleven stages of and qualified for the 2011 World Cup, shooting a combined championship total of one over par.

For 76 days, between August 7th and October 22nd, hogster was the #1 ranked Blitz-Out Champion of our cc comprising of over two hundred members.  The fact that hogster as a Tour Pro could defeat everyone including Legends within our cc with Level 59 g10 irons, when at the time the Level 79 Burner 2’s were the top level irons, showed how well hogster understood the intricacies of his equipment versus all of his competition.

In the 9th stage of qualifying for the 2011 Open Championship, hogster moved up to fifteenth place in our cc’s overall tier rankings shooting his low-round of qualifications, a five-under par 67 in difficult wind conditions at St Andrews, and subsequently finishing 20th overall in the championship finals.

The great number of posts within our forum shows how much hogster will be missed by several generations of champions within our cc.  A moment of silence for one of our cc’s ambassadors to the game of golf . . . To the hogster.

I didn't know him, but please accept my thoughts. I, also have lost family members to this horrible illness. Always sad to hear.
