GOLFSEEKER PGA BONUS POINT TOURNAMENTS
We will be
running some PGA Bonus Point tournaments during the break between season
2 and season 3. and will probably continue them if
they prove successful.
To enter the PGA Bonus Point tournaments one has
to be a Golfseeker member.
In preparation for these tournaments,
the bonus point feature on your Golfseeker User Menus has been
reinstated. As a current member you will receive 8 pts
each time you log in. (You will be deducted 3 points if you fail to log
in within 3 days) Make sure you check your points so you
can enter.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
These tournaments will be Stableford format with full handicap.
There will be a PGA tournament which
will run Monday through Wednesday and one which runs Thursday through
Sunday. Members must play with another GS member and
scorecards posted to this thread.
The Monday through Wednesday tournament will cost 50 bonus
points to enter and will be a 9 hole competition with the course and
conditions as established for that tournament.
The Thursday through Sunday tournament
will cost 100 bonus points to enter and will be an 18 hole format with
course and conditions as established for that tournament.
Each tournament will require 1 round
per day (24 hour limit) to be played.
TOURNAMENT CUT AND PAYOUT:
Mon-Wed - A cut will be made following
Tuesdays rounds and only those players making the cut will play Wed
(must be within 10 points of leaders)
Thurs-Sun - A cut will be made after
Fridays round and only those players making the cut will play Sat and
Sun (must be within 12 points of leader)
The entry bonus points for each
tournament will go into a pot. The payout for each
tournament will be as follows:
1st
40% of pot - 2nd
27% - 3rd 17% - 4th
10% - 5th 6%
(please allow up to 24 hours for winning points to
appear in your bonus account)
SCORECARDS:
Scorecards will be posted on the designated thread for these
tournaments.
LEADERBOARDS:
Leaderboards will be updated on a daily basis to show
your position in each comp

To enter any of the PGA Bonus point tournaments you must select
the appropriate button at the bottom of the fixture page for each of
these PGA type comps. Mon-Wed=9 hole and 50 point entry
fee Thurs-Sun=18 hole and 100 point entry fee.
Once you have entered a tournament the
appropriate number of bonus points will be automatically deducted from
your Bonus points account and added to the pool for that tournament.
Once you enter a tournament your bonus points are
non-refundable.
Remember if you get enough bonus points you can redeem them for REAL CASH
