Gifting USED equipment???

I'm new here and just bought a new iron set.......I'd like to "gift" my old set of irons to a member of our CC who needs an upgrade. Anyway to do this? If not.....maybe in the future??

right now, it's not possible. I do not know if that will ever be possible. you can sell them back to the pro shop though.

It won't ever be possible. The reason why is because if you get to gift your set, WGT gets no new revenues from that. They want to sell your friend his own full-price set of the new clubs, plain and simple. If you are allowed to gift them, they can't do that.

I hope it will never be implemented! Why? Multi-accounters.

With that in place what would happen would be people would set up a new account and use the credits they've won (fairly or dubiously) to buy and then gift 'old' stuff to a new account. then suddenly a Level 2 hack with high level clubs walks in and wipes the floor on RGs MPCs etc therebye winning even more credits and the circle would start all over again.

If you can sell them back to the Pro Shop why should you not be able to sell them for that same price to another player, if gifting is out of the question.

I heard a rumour that they just polish up the used stuff we sell them, for bad price as well, then they sell them as new, full priced, in the shop. I hope no one bought my old G20 set - the 8 iron was seriously bend after a meter jump at Kiawah last year.
