    bubbadork:

Click on the tools icon (could be a gear, could be 3 horizontal lines), click on TOOLS, click on Clear Browsing Data. You will have an option to clear several items such as cache, cookies, history, etc. I only choose to clear cache. If you click cookies you'll have to reset your game options.

TYVM bubadork,so simple really when you no how :).

I agree with what the OP said. Very good tips.

I've only used chrome with Gamebooster with some of the tips that the Op gave.

One thing I noticed yesterday...   I use the Max Balls and decided to try out the New Nikes.

Meter was stuttering and Jumpy and had to WD from a comp. Went back to the Max's and the meter was fine.

    Ok, try this...

Every since the last flash updates, Firefox is notorious for crashes when playing flash games.  Vista is fine, but the browser is not very compatible.  Try switching over to Maxthon (very similar to firefox) or try SRWare Iron (similar to google chrome).

Once you try one of these, dedicate it only to playing the game.  Keep your other browser for personal use.  Either way, you need to right click on the game screen and select (settings).  Once there, click on the file location on the bottom.  Drag the slide bar to the (unlimited) placement.  You can check to see how much flash memory you have used in this place also.  If it ever gets over 25kb you will need to right click on the game page, select (global settings) and delete data / go to advanced tab / delete data there to.

Side note, I have installed a program called (advanced system care 6).  I run this once a week to optimize my system.  If you choose to try this, it is free and helps a ton (on and off the game performance).  You can also select the expert mode and turn on internet booster to prioritize you browser in the task menu which makes the game buttery smooth.

this was passed on to me and worked  fantastically, hope it goes fine for you to !

     Cheers Trayback

For Windows 7 users... I do this lately and helps me a lot.Go to your My Computer( or just Computer) and right click. Choose Properties. Now on the left Pannel Select "Advance System Settings". On the Dialog Box, select the Settings for Visual effects, Processor... And then "Adjust for Best Performance". It will remove all the fancy stuff and Windows will look like Windows 98,but I get no stutters after this(On Maxthon). After the game you can set it back to what you had before.

I've heard that Windows 8 might be a bit suspect for playing the Game...Not Sure.

Have you got the 'Putting Grid' turned OFF in the Game Settings/Options Rob

I also use windows 8 on a laptop.I tried a few browsers but found the best to be Maxthon,it was smooth as silk but always had 1 spike per game, which was fine for the sake of a smooth meter.I also have advanced system care pro(paid version) but ever since the last update my meter has been poor to say the least,as i'm now getting stutters, and more meter spikes or i'm clicking only for it to take a sec to decide if it;s gonna stop or not lol.Tbh this is now starting to grate on my last nerve!!! i'm having to withdraw from Tournaments,Rg's due to unstable meter, hell i can play poorly all by myself i don't need meter probs to do it for me ffs.

But to answer Mantis windows 8 is fine for this game(well it was)
