I have a chart from a friend I use.  I backoff on downhill on putts.  Usually I get close.  I have the versa putter.  Would gladly share it with others.

While I'm very methodical with grids, flows, vertexes, and angles (even use Jruler to measure exact break in single player) I've always found my distance by feel.

On stimp 12 with a putt 25F and 5 inches below my feet I do something like 25 - 5 = 20 and then I randomly take off what I think is necessary.  In the above case probably hit the ball for 17F which should be around 1-1.5 F past hole.

On 40F and 11 inches below my feet I'd 40 - 11 = 29 and take off around 5-6F more for an adjusted putt of 24 or 25F.  No clue if this is good or bad ;).  It's just how I do it.  Besides, green speeds seem to change quite often, just like the Wind.  It's never the same forumla so I prefer to make "feel" based decision for distance.

    Joshnosh:
and i normally do JC method of 15 foot one box, if you do it too fast the break dont work and u go miles past

still don't get how a 2 ft. square box is equal to 15 inches of break. Oh, well

One real problem that you have to watch is the big, early break. Unlike in real golf where your at max speed off the clubface and the ball doesn't move much off line because of its speed in the first 5 or so feet, when playing WGT golf if the dots are moving at say 50% speed for the first 3 blocks and they are red or yellow meaning downhill (no matter what the pointer says at the hole)  that ball can be headed 12 to 14 feet offline by time it hits the fourth block.

I try to quadrant my putts (I'm pretty quick at it) so I pick a spot where it will be 1/4rth on, then where it will be at 1/2 on then 3/4rths and then the final.
