During the course of a game, I always check the opposition players' profile just to see their stats and history, and today there was one who has been a member for almost two years now and was a Tour Pro with a 77+ average., and when I saw something like 10 messages on his 'wall' complaining about his leaving other players hanging, I thought 'oh oh', and sure enough, during the 4th hole he timed out until he was disqualified (and he was winning at the time).
I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt......maybe he keeled over dead, or got stuck on the john.......but surely there is something that can be done for the chronic "delay of game" kind of players. This guy had an established history of it (the complaints on his wall went back to 2011) and obviously posting my resentment (among other things) on his wall wasn't going to change him or his habits; he must just get his kicks out of making others miserable for 5 or 6 minutes.
