Yes. Your observation about more of those close ones dropping is accurate but not because of the precision as much as for the better balance. All 3 Ghost putters have the same forgiveness but what increases with each version are precision and balance. Better precision means the putt is more likely to go where you aimed it BUT that balance is what helps the putt hold the line. Better balance, better roll.
Imagine putting with a balsa wood putter. You'd have to squeeze and muscle the stick through the putt because the balance would suck-there wouldn't be any. However, put a weight at the end of that stick and it swings like a pendulum right through the ball, especially if it's balanced. All you do is hold on it swings so nice.
Whatever you decide, like Courteney pointed out, it takes a while to get comfortable with it. You aren't buying putts, just a better tool. Commit to it. GL
