Hi, Ive just had my computer upgraded from windows xp 32 bit and running google chrome to Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit running firefox. My screen is 458mm x230mm.  When I come on to WGT to play I find that there are 2 inch black bars down the sides of the screen which cuts the view down to half size. Can anyone help please. If you can give advice please make it simple as possible because my computer and me and age make it non compatible. LOL thanks Regards Gordon ( mrgain Senior Citizens.)

    hi

    2 ideas:)

    1. make sure your monitor is using it's optimized resolution

    2. you can enlarge screen by moving it on edges left, right, up down, and so on.

Try a Maxthon browser. Mind you if you have a letter-box monitor I doubt the problem can be resolved.

    hi

for larger screens, there maybe bars since those are high res pictures and not graphics, it may not scale 100%

I play in a window and kinda gotten used to it.

I play on a 24" HD monitor, with resolution set at 1280x960.  In the game, there is a 1/4" black border running down each side.  I also play in full screen mode via Maxthon4.

Try Comodo Dragon.Even without full screen, Dragon's game screen fills my whole screen on a 21 inch wide screen monitor. Its full screen fills the screen top to bottom as well. And Dragon is more stable than either Chrome or Fire Fox.
