The most annoying thing i find on this site is players who chip instead of putting when on the green or using their driver on short putts. It wouldn't happen in the real game so why WGT do you allow it, surely there's a way to stop this by only allowing putters when on the green.

Why would they want to stop chipping on the greens? It is allowed in real golf, and is not against any USGA rule. I have seen Michelson do it more than once.

I've never done it but I've seen a video of someone using it here and as said, Phil Michelson has done it in real life.  I think it stopped being used as much here when WGT stopped spin being applied which made it trickier to judge distance.  The video I watched was after this though and the result was pretty damn good.

As long as it's allowed IRL I don't see why WGT should stop it here.

Doesn't using your driver to sink a putt have some strange effect on your stats?  It counts as a holed approach or something?  I honestly can't remember what it is but I know it used to count towards one of your stats even though it clearly shouldn't have.  Maybe it's been changed since then.

I use it both here and on a real course.

tell me then if you were on the green and there was a sand trap or rough between your ball and the pin how would you play it? putt thru the sand trap?

don't think it can happen look at St Andrews #17.. and there are many other examples.

    Yes that work good.

I too find with my balls my 50yard wedge it punch on green exact 27yards

To me the punch more accuratcy and % hits more accurate, like 50% exact 13.5 yards.
