Hello everyone, I see there is some dispute going on here, and I wanted to share my opinion (someone will say "who cares?" LOL).
It is always difficult to express oneself in matters like this one, without the risk of hurting someone's feelings, so please know that what I am saying in this post is not against anyone, but just my way to see things.
It is hard to take decisions upon others and make rules be respected.
It is even harder to respect your own rules when they work against you like it is happening now.
We are now facing what is called an "interest conflict" being the organizer the same person being judged under their own rules.
I see two things are happening, and both are led by the desire of the players to win this competition, which is good.
On Luigi side I must say that I think rules needs to be respected, regardless the reasons the players give, and at the same time the rules needs not to be changed, especially in a case like this.
Here I agree with what pierolitfiba says about rules: bad or good they need to be endured.
This is a picture of the calendar, still linked and reachable from the tournament pages.
The time limit to play is basically EST midnight 6/6.
Recommended time is 11:30pm - 0:30am (CEST) Thu 6th.
On Aaahna side I see they are leveraging on this rules to take an advantage... it might not be sportsmanship like, but it is their right to to so.
So, the Recommended time needs to be used, otherwise the player not showing will lose the game... looks simple enough to me.
