I've never owned a hybrid, or better said, bought one. Until I reached Legend, and even long after that, I used 4 wedges, without counting the PW. With the irons, I would get out of most situations saving par at least. Decided to go for the wood because definitely needed a few yards in some shots to compete, but always thought that the wood goes the distance with good wind, but is crap against it... with good wind even a good iron goes as far and has more spin. I used to punch the 3i from rough, now I usually do it with the wood. Punches need a clear path for the ball to land and roll, but since your wood only goes 227 yds, I would drop it in favor of the irons until you can buy a better one.
My putting hassuffered a bit since I started playing Ready Goes.. I have to continuously adapt to green speeds from one tourney to next, but the Rossa is still my putter and many top players' choice. Never liked the Spider, but that's everyone's choice...
I really liked the old TM level 79 that the Rocketz replaced so I guess they are a good choice with a slower meter now. Don't get scared if your average starts going up... at some point it will go down again. When you do get a driver, try one with high trajectory.
