I can't understand why some players hate the Shorter Tee's. I think it's brought a bit of fun back into the game.

    Thank you CS. Great Job!

I don't think that players hate it. I have to agree, it's good fun. I just don't think WGT should have let it count towards averages. As with everything in life players will just abuse it, as we can see from quite a few on "top" of the list.

You find CCs that only set up tournies from short tee to purely drop averages, what's the point? Mix them up a bit.

I know in our CC we've had tournies from the baby tees. Makes it very interesting, yes, it may be easy, but it's easy for everyone in the tourny so it's fun to see some crazy scores. JJ656 had a good idea and put up a big prize for the player that could shoot -40 after 4 rounds, so even though it was easy tees, it's a tough ask.

All that being said, I have to agree with everyone and say thanks to CS for putting this list together, it must take some work to put together. Thanks Sir!

Would love to take the spanish "senorita" on the very top.... for a match game ;)

For many of us that have been around WGT for awhile now, quite some time has passed since we have seen the Red Tees or have been able to play from them. With that being said, of course they are fun to play once in awhile. They are like completely new courses. We have become so accustomed to the Big Boy tees and their distances, the simple fact we had to think again from the Red tees made it fun.

Yes, it is a shame that abuse of this nature occurs. I remember a time when being a Tour Legend actually meant something. With all the variables now, the Tier seems tainted somewhat.

Hopefully 2015 will bring some new changes to Tiers.

    Well I would agree :)

Yep see the fun in red tees - very now and then personally, but driving averages down with them is a different competition, and should be represented as such.

Do WGT see enough of a $ in it even with the ideas elsewhere? .............what it boils down to

I would think they would. If players are taking advantage of the Red Tees in their respective CC's, playing many, many rounds from them, that equates to Ball Usage. Which in turn leads to purchasing more balls.

OK see the confusion and all me:)

Do WGT see enough $s in creating system that also allows rolling averages gained from only SP real tee length and per course / 90% insisted on to get it type stuff.  Only clean way of doing that whilst not pi$$in on the red tee peoples fireworks is a new tier IMO.

Not trying to upset anyone here...i made TL from the regular tees, then the short tees came out...i play em for for and a different look at the game. I really dont care about my avg, but my question is why should you care about my avg...my game, the money i spend and the rounds i shoot have nothing to do with your game....this is just a virtual game, one that i happen to love, but its still a game.....its none of my business how you play, when you play, and how you set up your games. Just have fun....

Fair enough, I do see the point about the Short Tee's  v Averages.

As DDRoss said, I'm not that fussed about my Average as I know It's not a True Average.

We don't start comps from shorter tees every week, maybe once or twice a month. For me apart from the fun factor, it's good practice for my wedge shots in comp conditions.

Also it gets my brain working...lol, cause I have to think where to aim off the tee.

It can also give a good idea for people in lower Tiers to see what it's like to hit from Longer Tees.

Lots of little things like that and great fun

Try playing the Bo5 from the easy tees, now that is good par 4 course and it does not affect your average (for those who care about their wgt average). Only played it twice, but was like playing a whole new course.

But then we'd hear people griping about double eagles not really being double eagles. LOL

I enjoy rounds from all tee boxes, as long as they are on champ greens.  Still can't make a putt though LOL.  Short tees and high winds is harder than long tees and low winds,  nice to be able to change it up in a multi-round tourney.  You see it on tv for pro tourneys,  the announcer will mention that they moved the tee up 40 yards on this one or moved it back on another one.
