    theShoeman:

ShotPal-    Guess it's a good item for those that need it.

Taylormade Lethal Ball - Don't know how many level 7's are going to purchase ?

    RBZ Rocketballz - I guess D/W ' s is a nice collection.

Revised Hole in One Payouts - I don't use it.

Merion Back 9 - USELESS to have anymore CTTH courses.

this only helps the 1% of the one's who always win.

Nothing here for the Avg. player.

    Perfectly said.

Wrong. You can learn a lot playing the U.S. Open CTTH course that you can use when the qualifier starts. You can see where you need to land the ball on the green to get close to the hole.Too many of us just play each side once or twice and don't learn anything. Then when one of the top players who put in lots of rounds on the CTTH course shoots low many of us start crying how could anyone shoot that low the first time out. Simple, they used what they learned in the CTTH rounds to get close to the hole and they putt well.

This applies if a person plays ctth games, and in the tournaments only 5 players will win.  Whats the use? I don't.  I come to the site to play stroke play games against live real people.  If I want to play foo foo games, I play Playstation.

I think part of the point that is being missed is, is that the new items and products are not usefull to many players and are more or less cash cows for WGT.

New courses, better bug decoding, smoother meter.  WGT needs to focus on the basics that made this game good and stop thinking about their wallets only.

Arghhh, i cant help it, but here goes. Shot-pal? why bother when its obvious that using exactly 50% power of any shot does not equal the actual outcome?  You still have to calculate the wind etc into it.

the same winners from the front 9  / will win the back 9

I will NEVER shoot CTTH in the 50' range

I think you missed Sting's point. He's talking about 50s in the actual Open. Both CTTHs are perfect for early learning about how and where to land the ball on the green. THAT is what is going to pay off for those applying themselves there now.

Right on YJ. The Olympic front and back CTTH courses were fantastic for learning where to hit it and so far Merion looks about the same. We also get to see where the pins will be cut. One of my favorite things is the written tutorial for each hole. There's a lot to be learned about the upcoming course reading the tutorials. It really sounds like drivers won't be needed that often unless one's driving accuracy and guts is at an all time high. There's a sweet little par 3 on the back that's a lot of fun. 2 of the back 9 shots seem to be about exactly where we'll be playing from the fairway for our approaches with longer irons.

It's all there to be learned. Discovery is fun. :-)

IMO... Merion CTTH courses are a just tease for the full Merion course coming next Month.

Sure, but what about all of the other CTTH courses?  I would love to play a full round on Wolf Creek, Pinehurst, Edgewater, etc...

All of those were put on here early on, before WGT even made stroke play courses. They were photographed for CTTH only. I doesn't take many photos for CTTH where as it takes several thousand for full stroke play. To make those CTTH courses stroke play they would have to go back and re-shoot the entire course. Probably costing way more that they would be worth.

Nothing there for me. It's Country Club improvements that we need.

That has been noted and discussions are starting to ramp up on improvements for Country Clubs.

The biggest improvement you could make would be the ability to play multi-player matches within the country clubs.

    This is GOOD news.

Can you tease us with any indication of what IS on the horizon?
