2 - using cheap balls .starter or srixon .

The new Taylor Made Lethal ball  has the same distance as the Srixon distance ball the same spin as the Srixon spin ball and has the same durability as both.Plus 1/2 dot more feel and is only 70 credits more than the spin ball and only 50 credits more than the distance ball. That extra feel might allow you to go with a slightly faster meter. It really performs well. So that could be an option for you.

Cally (is) lvl 33+ is the same price with similar attributes as the new 'Lethal' ball but with added distance and spin.

If you are going to throw 80 bucks of your hard earned money at this game , then the next question is , Have you lost your mind ?

Not really wanting to tell anyone how to play the game, but.  As someone who has spent way to many hours over my life playing video games of a wide variety, 80 bucks really isn't that bad when you consider.

Most new games cost you between $45-$60 depending console/pc/steam/etc... And most games you are lucky if you get 50-60 hours of enjoyment out of, so even at 1/hour/day (enough to get your game per day in or so)

And that's before you get into other hobbies like say Actual Golf, which if you were to play as often would run you a lot more.

I don't want to encourage people to spend money they don't have, don't get me wrong, but to say spending 80 bucks on a hobby you enjoy means you have lost your mind?  A bit of a stretch to me at least.

People always want to condemn someone for spending their own money on WGT.

I think of WGT as entertainment and pretty cheap entertainment at that.  If you never win anything, do any surveys, etc. you can still play pretty cheaply.    Full set of clubs are probably in the 8,000 credit range and should last at least a year.  Three sleeves of mid level balls are about 700 credits should last a week or more.  That combination of 8,000 credits for clubs and 700 x 52, roughly 35,000 credits for balls would come to $430, throw in putter play, etc. and lets say you spend $500 a year.   That is less than $10 a week, basically the cost of one lunch a week.

Go to the movies, you pay $8 for a ticket and $12 for popcorn and a drink so $20 for a single movie, if you go once a month that gets to $240.

Can you justify spending that much on WGT, that is up to each individual and no one should be ashamed to spend their own money if they want to nor should they feel obligated to spend money that they don't want to spend.

It's a game, it's entertainment, it can be free or expensive.  That is all up to the player.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well, in order to try and do well you need the best equipment that's available.

What is the purpose of doing anything if you don't want to excel in it. That to me is pointless and a total waist of time.

So my point is if you can't move the brick wall then stop trying to move it. It's the new bees that find this site and have that driving desire to move up the ladder is what makes WGT the money .

IMOP the whole game is going down hill from where it was 2 years ago and getting worst. Just need to wait till someone comes up with another online golf game and start the circle all over. Till then just do what ever you must do

Erm, that Lethal ball is the same price as the L33 Callies, has the same feel and durability, but less spin and distance. Why on earth would anyone buy the Lethal then?

Basic Srixons work great with G20s and you won't experience many meter glitches (the slower the meter, the more they appear).

Edit: Erm, mental note to myself : "Read the whole thread before you reply." I see Alosso already pointed out this blunder on page 1 ;-)

    I'm not the only one...

As I said, it may be a good albeit expensive ball for a lower level player.

The other reason may be to expand the selection for those fixated
    on their precious brands.

Or someone persuaded someone to an advertizing deal :)

I am thinking of updating my clubs .I need 8000 credits which will cost me $80 or £60 .

William hill [ the bookmaker ] is offering 8800 credits on the offer,s page if you register on their online casino site and deposit £35 or $55 . You also get a free bonus of £150 or $220 . So if i play once with my £35 plus bonus of £150 i get all my new clubs very cheap .And with £185 to gamble with i might even win . Bet red or black at even money should mean i keep my £185 . Just cash out and walk away .So i now have new clubs free of charge and £150 in my back pocket
