  Neither one. Drop the hybrid and add a 3rd wedge. The top 3 irons do almost as well out of the rough as the hybrid and most of the top 3 woods punch out of the rough well enough to make the need to use a hybrid non-existent. You will find that the 3rd wedge saves you many more strokes than the hybrid does.

  Agreed.  You are one level away from the level 90 R11 irons and the 3-iron in that set outperforms any hybrid you can buy.
