Meter on new R11 irons

  Just got the new R11 irons and noticed that the meter is a little faster than it is with my other clubs (the driver and 3 wood).  I'm afraid this is going to take some getting used to! It'd be nice if the meter was the same for all clubs. I played the front 9 at Congo and was happy with the clubs, although the distances are different from my old G10's.

  Just sold my R11's irons.Came to the conclusion they were too fast for me .Went back to the G20's and I don't regret it.

  The slightly faster meter is why I got L79+  RocketBladez instead.

  CM, i see you are using the lvl71 nike. If you can stand the price, the lvl 81 nikes made all the difference to me. The max balls with the rlls are like watching paint dry.

  Just got the same irons, and it's beginning to become a sickly love affair! I went through a stage of some while back "having" to use the black granny ball, but found really it was in the mind! If I can play with the R11 meter I really think any one can - away from having medical issues of course! They are V good irons so I would say persevere my friend..for a while at least.........Saying all that I see you are a TL but will leave my 2cents here anyway!

  Thanks Lonnie!  Took your advice and bought the level 81 Nikes and it was magic... Dinged at least 2/3 of the shots tonight, which is scary for me!  Shot -9 on the front 9 Whistler RG and had a 58 on BPB with a couple missed putts.  

  I guess money solves all the problems at WGT.  Now if I can fix the putter... I haven't bought one in over a year.. maybe everything will start falling if I spend a few sheckles on a new putter, too!  :)
